Well if Edy is of the Deutsche persuasion you can always keep him happy by going to LIDL, fairly sure the lager there is the same as is currently sold in the Heimat. For a few years anyway, before it's banned under Sharia.

It was just a bit of friendly back-and-forth banter with casemoney.
JC, personally I much prefer top-fermented Altbier. Something like Duckstein. Ripened on beechwood, brewed with a malt that gives it a soft, slightly caramel-ish taste and on top it has a fantatic colour that resembles coppor in some ways. It's glorious stuff for the eyes, as well as the taste buds. Sadly it is not available at Lidl in its splendid plastic bottles. Apart from that it's a fantastic store however that leaves no wishes unfulfilled. |
