Gaddafi was a terrorist and mass murderer . He had a young man tied to two cars and ripped in half because he complained after Gaddafi raped his wife . He was responsible for blowing up pan am 103 over Lockerbie and 4 years later shooting  down a Libyan airliner killing 157 people
He wanted to pretend the West’s sanctions after Lockerbie was affecting the aircraft parts and the safety of his own airlines
He supplied the IRA with weapons and explosives which were used to kill innocent men , women and children in the UK
The list of the atrocities committed by this evil man is almost beyond belief
Anyone one of which should have meant that he should have been overthrown and brought to justice for his crimes
Finally he was

Now if people like the mightymac think that sort of regime should be allowed to continue , even as a civil war is raging in Libya and Gaddafi is on the point of massacring people in his own country while we sit back and let it happen then I’m sorry
Don’t start to preach about innocent lives being lost and brutal regimes anywhere in the world again

Danke Det und Edy.

Yes, that's why I asked as there are a few things in the story I found a tad difficult to fully comprehend and believe.

Are we saying then that it's complete bullshine or simply somewhat exaggerated?  Why do people bother telling such porkies when they will be so easily found out and therefore to become forever known as stupid?

Is there a gang of 15 - 40 foreign chappies being not so very well behaved and causing problems in Frankfurt and what are the Polizei doing about it?

Amr Abdel-Hady said he had made friends in Chemnitz since arriving three years ago, and found that the city was much more welcoming than some Germans had made it out to be.

But after this week, the 33-year-old Egyptian said, he's "thinking about what's the quickest way to get out."

Not so with Saleh.

"I have friends in western Germany who say, 'You're crazy. How can you stand it there?" she said. "But I tell them, 'If I leave, who will I be leaving the city to?' I'm staying."

Crazy

Thanks edy for the link. I still dont buy the explanation though. The whole event seems highly exaggerated. One article says police arrived in 9 minutes, the other says half an hour. I still don't buy the fact that no one else other than the bar guy called the police. Apparently multiple people were hit on the head with glass bottles and stones, but no one was seriously injured? What did the attackers do with the knives and poles they were carrying?

The police have clarified the article isn't accurate regarding their response time. So what's the likelihood that the remaining story is true? If these are the reporters trying to spread awareness of these incidents then the mainstream media have basically no competition.

You'll have to ask someone who does that, i.e InsiderTrader or yourself.

You'll find that people are very easily impressed in the atomized, echo-chamber filled internet. That's why people seriously quote from serial bullshitters like OnlineMagazin or Westmonster.

Well, for starters - as you mention WS Utd, I guess it could be said that while we all enjoy visiting foreign culture doesn't necessarily mean we enjoy foreign culture being thrust upon us?

May I remind you both that the right or the white supremacists or whatever and whoever they are, as well as the left, which would be merkel and co, DO NOT want a solution to the refugee crisis. The left started it, so I don't see why they would work to stop it now. The right basically got a new politicial life because of the issue. If the issue is resolved today, their politics is finished. It is in the interest of both the sides to keep this issue ignited without it either getting out of control or solved. Yes some people will suffer but when was the last time politicians sacrificed their careers for the good of the public?

Wouldn't it be very lonely if Britain, the mastermind behind every remotely popular game on the planet, would only have itself to play with instead of those fine pieces of culture having spread? Playing only with oneself time after time after time after time does get tiresome after a while, I can tell you that.

Also, you think a foreign culture is being thrust upon you? Is British culture so weak that others can force the large majority of people? The good and worthwhile parts of other cultures are constantly adopted, and have so throughout all of human existence. That's why yoga is all the rage now and why liberalism and atheism will win out over illiberalism, Christianity and Islam.

Culture is something living anyway that changes constantly. E.g male folks, by and large, are much better behaved than they used to be, regardless of what the delusional, romantisizing old men will try to tell you.

Please refrain from using such words, my friend. Werder Bremen it is.

Also, if you actually mean that picture you just posted, I think you'd do well to not open threads in which you broadly label other human beings as invading barbarian hordes.

buckets of alcohol for Frühstück? Yeah, the elder generation does that here too. Calls it "Frühschoppen" and for some weird reason they deem it acceptable behaviour.
