Reynard - I fear you're dumbing down the issue with a mention of 'balloons'.
I think it's more of a dirigible rather than a balloon. I may be wrong (it happens a lot so I'm told at home). |

I may have mentioned balloons , agreed , but I wasn't the first ffs !

Listen to Khan ignoring the concerns of the white lady in this debate in relation to him not doing anything about serious crime:

He is clearly trying to use this Trump thing to deflect from the fact he is completely out of his depth trying to be mayor.

He is clearly trying to use this Trump thing to deflect from the fact he is completely out of his depth trying to be mayor. As I said @ 5.17 . It's so bleedin' obvious I can't believe the BBC haven't mentioned it ... |

I would have thought he would like a big balloon over hampstead ponds

How about raising funds to produce giant party poppers the size of a drum ?
Pull the string and BOOOOOOOOOOOM ! |

I think some of you are thinking Khan is King of London or something.
It's sad to read. London, like the rest of the UK is under the rule of law set by central government, with a few local twists, which you well might not agree with. But no different to any other big city. Also I'd say the number of people spraying bullets around crowds (as so often in the USA), is more frightening than the inner city knife crime in London. You need to find other things to do and think about. |

By:
no, London is the people who live in London
Therein lies the problem |
|
By:
Must of the people who live in London are not English , now that fact alone is a disaster
|
|
By:
many who try to paper over the cracks don't even live in london town
|
|
By:
Most of the people who live in my street are not English , but I'm not aware of any stabblings or shootings in the last 5 years

I should hope not , but most people in London know someone , someone within their own family if friends or work colleagues who have been victims of involved in violent crime

|

It is everywhere , very lucky if you have not been there at some time
|
|
By:
what is everywhere? how can you ever go everywhere? wtf are you on about now?

It is astonishing how narrow the involvement is, but it is too embarrassing for authorities to deal with as they are partially responsible - no - mainly responsible for creating the climate for this.
It has been going on for years. You should read my local paper and see the same old faces week in week out. |

It is everywhere , very lucky if you have not been there at some time I have indeed been there at sometime , I was born and brought up in East London . When I lived there it was multi-racial and it all worked ok most of the time . Not all of the time but most of the time . Now as Londonistan it is classed as multi-cultural and it quite simply doesn't work , not some of the time but ANY of the time . Please do not come on here and tell me that multi-cultural is the same thing as multi-racial because it isn't . And therein lies the problem ! |
|
By:
I didn’t say that did I ?

Sorry babe , I must have misread your post , apologies

there’s no point reading words if you don’t understand words

I should hope not , but most people in London know someone , someone within their own family if friends or work colleagues who have been victims of involved in violent crime When I was in London I was robbed at gunpoint on half a dozen separate occasions . There ya go pal , you can claim a direct hit on that one ! |

Welcome to the lfc battlezone, Reynard.
we've all played in it. As a matter of interest, I come from East London too. I'll doubtlessly talk to you about this later. But it's bedtime now. Night night. |
|
By:
yes when we realise that words can cause confusion and destroy something good and wonderful and dear ,
It’s best to keep silent , that’s a little life lesson for you Reynard |
|
By:
F*** Y** !!! The last thing I need after some of the things I've lived through and witnessed is some little oik telling me about "Life lessons" .
If you'd seen and experienced HALF the things I have you'd be in a fkn box by now cos you couldn't handle it |
|
By:

|
By:
I've tried to be nice to you , but quite frankly I can no longer be bothered . You really have no idea about anything and when confronted by someone who does you struggle , bye

By:
Ah you tried to be nice , now you call me condending

|
By:
You see I prefer you not to be nice, even rude
Because then I might feel obliged not to be rude to you and that is something I might wish to avoid |
|
By:
