Would this be the same "they" that claimed weapons of mass destruction in Iraq ? Or , that promised us 'Brexit' ? Or , that there were no quotas on deportation ?
....... or the same "they" that told us it was russian produced novichok in the first place ?

it was widely reported at the time...for example
