Looking well at 77. The peter pan of pop.
Strange private life though, very little known about it.
Well he did say 'He'd be a bachelor boy until his dying day'

Isn't Cliff most famous for doing The Young Ones?

Number 1 for 6 weeks in those days was quite the achievement.

Showed the BBC up for what they are.

An organisation that persecutes the innocent (Cliff Richard), after covering up for the guilty (Jimmy Savile)

All done using licence fee money.

What the police and the BBC did to Cliff Richard was completely contemptible and I hope he gets some solace when he receives justice.

The news yesterday seemed to detail a load of collusion between the police and the BBc, then at the end of it all the woman implicated said there was flatly no collusion.

They seem to have different standards for themsleves vs those they investigate.

The BBC are an extremely arrogant organisation, full of their own self importance. I'd wager they threw more resources and airtime at this story than all those yorkshire mass sex assault cases combined... I wonder why.

The world according to Wiki...

'In 1982, Barker met singer Cliff Richard. Their romance attracted considerable media attention after Richard flew to Denmark to watch her play in a tennis match and they were later photographed cuddling and holding hands at Wimbledon.Richard said in 2008 that he had come close to asking her to marry him. He said: "I seriously contemplated asking her to marry me, but in the end I realised that I didn't love her quite enough to commit the rest of my life to her."

Elm Guest House business does cast a dark shadow ( pardon the pun ) of doubt over who and what the real Cliff is.

The police haven't actually come out and said that he didn't do the deed in question, which usually means that privately they think he's guilty, but no prosecution because of the lack of evidence. That's the big thing that Cliff was objecting to, ie. the police didn't come out and say that he didn't do it, and I don't believe that they ever will!

My personal opinion is that I think they are right in their assumption, but he's not guilty due to lack of evidence.

Amazingly, the Beeb reporter is being pilloried about the event of cliff being investigated....nothing at all to do with the big nobs at the Beeb of course whom obviously knew nothing about events going on in their own back garden.......sure I've heard all this before....oh yeah...saville

The thing I find a little surprising, is that so many people here have decided it's a witch hunt!
It's usually the last place people are declared innocent until guilt is proven.

This BBC thing isn't the 1st time he's been investigated!

A bit of smearing going on here against Cliff.
Guys a legend and has sought privacy at all times.
Don't think he'd attend the likes of Elm House.
