the blue coat with black sleeves has a logo on the jacket
did he stitch that on when adding the extra lines ? |
By:
btw no one tell donny to look at their shoes
By:
Worth observing the Skripals and poor Dawn and Charlie Rowley all managed to achieve almost complete CCTV invisibility around Salisbury at the key times, while in contrast "Petrov and Boshiriv" mananged too be frequently caught in high quality all the time during their brief visit
By:
dave you seem to assume i am all negative these guys being involved
which lets you down snidey comments are not required |
By:
donny I noticed the logo in one photo and tried to see it in others
But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there |
By:
it would surely show up in the station photo, but cant see it, whereas black coat logo
shows up |
By:
Was trying to see it in the airport and at Salisbury photo
Chat open in one , sideways in another , going home is that a logo below the bag strap I wasn’t sure |
By:
Yes I looked at the station one , but he’s sideways
Not facing camera Sunlight casting shadows |

By:
On balance I thought they both wore one coat
By:
BBC have conveniently put a caption over the timeline
![]() |
By:
At least one of them wears different shoes tho, which also doesn't matter.
By:
i would expect folk to carry a change of shoes for a weekend away
but different coats ? maybe they got novochok on one and had to replace it there must be so many more pictures of them in diverse locations that we just have not been shown timestamp still needs explanation for me, as does the glow around the images of two suspects |
By:
This has been a joke from the beginning till now. Russians haven't been allowed near the investigation even when they have offered help and exchange of information. For all we know, there might never have been a poisoning in the first place.
Now that we have the coat out of the way, how about the passport photos? Met say they got those two pics from the passport. But aren't photos on the passport supposed to have a thing on them that you only see when you move the pic a bit(Hologram?)? Its not possible to copy the pic without that thing. And why do they need photos off the passport? These two applied for a visa so they must have submitted photos with their application? |
By:
I would have expected them to have had more than one coat if they were intending be identified
It’s certainly a mystery if they only had the same clothes |
By:
I mean to arrive at the airport , go to your hotel by public transport carry out this assassination attempt , return by train to the airport , all in the same clothes
It seems strange |
By:
I would have expected them to change chats , trousers , hats
General appearance to disguise themselves But it seems they didn’t |
By:
nothing about the discrepancies on the mainstream media, right?
By:
* change coats , that is the first thing you would expect
Maybe donnys right and one did and one didn’t |

nothing about the discrepancies on the mainstream media, right? I don't think they like to embarrass themselves as easily as chitchat detectives. |
By:
btw what discrepancies are we focusing on now? Having a change of outer garment?
By:
I suppose really they were relying on their false passports and a quick exit back to Moscow so it wasn’t necessary for any disguise
By:
So the Telegraph and Mail are going to write a piece about the Russian spies "changed outer garments" at some point. No one saw them doing it, casting a pall of doubt over the entire Met investigation.
By:
Questions to be asked of these two men I think everyone can agree that
By:
In the interests of bringing closure to the clothing thing, I have got my cabin bag out. Have put a jacket, shoes, baseball cap and a bottle of perfume in it. Still room for a Mills and Boon and pair of socks. Anything else to go in?
By:
a hat, a woolly hat.
By:
and a tiny vlad pootin manlet
By:
no dave. not the change of garments. We were just discussing that to prove how easy it is to get everyone talking about something that isn't relevant.
These guys were issued visas by UK govt The PM knows they work for GRU Yet the met aren't sure if these are their real names Russia isn't allowed to be part of the investigation, but is responsible for everything. The govt is fooling everyone, just like we are fooling you with the importance of their outer garments. |
By:
It might take a change of regime in Russia before we have the answers
By:
detraveller the British government can’t give all the information out now of course there will be information that they know
By:
Of course lfc. The British govt has never lied to the public before, have they?
By:
Look these two men landed in Moscow on false passports
And Putin claims he has never heard of them : ) |
By:
Did he say that? Or you just made that up? If he indeed said that, and the UK govt still can't hurt him for such a blatant lie, the govt must be pathetic. Or maybe they are just gathering all the evidence against Putin to get him later.
Imagine how stupid Putin will look when UK accepts their request to join the investigation and humiliates Putin internationally by exposing his lies! |
By:
After all UK has proof of Russian involvement!
By:
I heard the Russian foreign office say it or government spokesperson
That means Putin said it |
By:
I heard May say it in Parliament that she knows these two are GRU agents. She should help the met because they have asked the public for more info. If May knows so much, why isn't she doing anything? The country was attacked with chemical weapons ffs.
By:
Passports were issued on the same day , with sequential serial numbers
By:
Yes i agree , what do you suggest ?
