Don't eat indian much these days, probably 2 or 3 times a year now, yeah agree with madras, had some quite hot one's and other's not so, could never really understand the reason for people eating really hot curries, the one and only time i ate a vindaloo, it was literally just heat, no taste at all just heat, quite horrific feeling in my stomach as it went down. each to your own i guess.

Similar to Tin, I had a vindaloo once. My mouth was on fire, my nose was running, and my eyes were streaming. It was extremely unpleasant and this was only after a few mouthfuls. I asked a mate if he wanted to finish it off, and he ate it like it was a masala.
