I do like a ruby but not that hot, I usually go for a chicken dopiaza. I wouldn't eat a vindaloo if they were giving it away for free.

Don't eat indian much these days, probably 2 or 3 times a year now, yeah agree with madras, had some quite hot one's and other's not so, could never really understand the reason for people eating really hot curries, the one and only time i ate a vindaloo, it was literally just heat, no taste at all just heat, quite horrific feeling in my stomach as it went down. each to your own i guess.

Madras for me too.
Similar to Tin, I had a vindaloo once. My mouth was on fire, my nose was running, and my eyes were streaming. It was extremely unpleasant and this was only after a few mouthfuls. I asked a mate if he wanted to finish it off, and he ate it like it was a masala. |

Tried a madras once. one piece of meat eaten but never again. Only ever had about 5 or 6 Indian dishes in my life
