Germaine Greer - we salute you

Lest we forget, the great Germaine also did another fantastic service to women, this country and the sane world in general with another well-judged observation.

She should have been carried through the street to rousing cheers for this magnificent common sense, which is so rare these days in the Modern Western World.

During the show he took exception to something she'd said that he thought was attacking his credibility as a singer.
I laughed at that whilst asking the wife to put the kettle on.Wee DoD in joke there.

Last couple of times i've seen GG on tv have been embarrassing...clearly losing her marbles in her old age..sad to see

that what most of the feminazis label her with. they have nothing to debate her with, so they bring out the usual ageist crap.

I remember decades ago ago she was on a panel discussing rape.

She said ''women aren't afraid of being raped or they wouldn't allow it.
What they're afraid of is a man's fists and the damage he'll do to them if he doesn't get his way.''

She went on, ''for what is their to be afraid of in something as small as a man's penis?''

greer does not fit the narrative, whose opinion is therefore irrelevent, like the rest who take up a radical thinking alternative to the shrieking tiny minority who try to grab control and force men into an intellectual corner.

She agrees with me that sexual misconduct should be reported immediately. 

I agree with her that women did have sexual relations with men in order to get a part in a film or tv etc.  Although she is blunt 'spread their legs'

dont think many people would disagree with her on either statement...those statements cover a fraction of the whole debate, however

I don't think GG ever got over catching a dose from JP tbh. She seems very bitter to me. Can't not respect the woman though.

I don't know A_T, I'm not so sure. Could be some victims of bullying in there and it's no joke.

So it has been with his legendary bunk-up with Germaine Greer. He claims she almost raped him. She has recalled that he left her with a dose of the clap. Had this somewhat undignified debate occurred between any other two public figures, there would have been embarrassed hilarity all round, but here normal rules of media behaviour seem not to apply.
