''The dispute erupted over a decision by Labour chiefs to charge black and ethnic minority activists £10 less per ticket than white activists to attend a rally next month.
Tory MPs last night accused Labour of racism and said it was further evidence that the party had abandoned the white working class.''

The startling point here is that Labour know they're being racist and don't appear to be bothered, as long as the racism is against white people then it's okay by them to be racist.

They must be taking their cue from the BBC.

What did Enoch Powell say about the whip hand?

Fake News.

BAME is a legitimate membership.
Functions always offer discounts to certain factions of Society.
Shall we claim organisations are ' ageist ' when they reduce prices for ' under 18's ' or ' over 60's'

A nothing news story from the Daily Fail. Must be desperate .

^^There I told you racism is okay amongst Labour as long as it favours non whites.

A reduced price for attendance based on the colour of your skin.

How racist can you get?

Facts correct, desperate indeed. They moan about BAME citizens not getting involved in British society and when Labour try to assist their integration and improve their undoubted skills, the knives are out again.

A Labour spokesman said: ‘The basic price of a conference pass is the same for all members but, at the request of our East Midlands Regional Board, the party will subsidise part of the cost of this year’s conference pass for BAME members to encourage attendance and improve representation.’

How would I get on?

^^So what's the difference in that to what the labour party have done?

It's clearly illegal and there should be a police investigation.

Of course it's racist, it's treating people differently in a material way according to their race. No surprise Facts the apologist can't see it that way.

BBC news didn't mention this? If there were a 25% reduction for white people to Tory, UKIP or a Trump rally however, we can all be 100% sure it would be doing itself an injury in snowflake fury. Could you imagine Channel 4 and the BBC not covering it if Trump had done that for white people?

If they want to integrate then why do they have separate committees/societies/parties etc.

Surely one would cover all?

I agree with moisok, divisive stuff. The SJWs have distanced themselves from the term 'positive discrimination' lately, now favouring 'positive action' instead.

A truly remarkable story which gives the illusion of racism.

However I'm siding with Facts and Cooperman by saying the discount is entitled.

BAME (?) people need help. As I look around this Sphere we call Earth, they persistently choose poverty above wealth and need all the assistance they can get.

Where can I donate to subsidise them further?

Desperation to clutch at ANY straw however vague or twisted, if it runs down Labour or Corbyn.
With never a hint of criticism for the current government, no matter what they do - however blatantly wrong or bad it might be.
Working on the principle that if you say it often enough or loud enough - preferably both - it'll be true.

This applies to both the Daily Mail and this forum

Next up,lighter sentences for blacks, muslims and working class crooks because they came from disadvantaged backgrounds ? Just as logical in the Labour mindset. Treat everyone the same but strive to create equal opportunities through education and integration must be the aim. It takes time.

Oh dear.

Breaking News suggests Labour may have had a little re-think about this catastrophically badly-judged initiative after all, following a minimum of pressure from the EHRC.

Labour policy laid bare I'd say.

Although we shouldn't be surprised, they've hardly made a secret of pandering to minority groups in order to get their votes.

What beats me is why their traditional core voters keep supporting them.

I'm pretty close to what you would call a core Labour voter although last election voted UKIP. I'm against inequality which I consider Tories to be in favour of. I'm also against positive discrimination which is becoming all too prevalent and which this seems to be another example of.
