It would need a lot more than a few people at the top Terry.
How many people do you think would be needed to construct the site?
How many people would be involved in the production of the event?
Russia would have no doubt been all over this as they had lost the race to claim first man on the moon.
I'm pretty sure if they'd found anything we'd all have known about it.

If there are people running everything, living forever, in charge of all governments, from other planets or whatever it is they the illuminati is supposed to be, then why do they feel the need to advertise the fact on Olympics tickets, or anywhere else come to that?

The lizard people have their reasons that are far beyond the grasp of us mere mortal humans.

Russians are looking into it now,the site was already there for training and when they realize it was impossible to go they faked it,how many to film it? 2 0r 3 maybe,im sure they would be told to shut it or else

2 or 3? Hundreds of technicians, choreographers, lighting crews and camera men involved in even the most basic of productions let alone one of this magnitude.
Nope my piece of moonrock is deffo the real deal. Happy

There were 100's of scientists and mathematicians working on the whole thing each time.
In order to fool all of them the fakers would have had to be even cleverer or better at the calculations than the boffins all were in order to fool them.
Pretty unlikely if you think about it.

Why have the same arguments that were had over 30 years ago.

Only attenion seekers regurgitate the same tired old arguements.

I wonder how many would say that there has not been a moon landing
if they had to stake their life on it.

what everyone forgets is before the moon landing the Americans were hopeless at space travel, rockets blowing up,rockets not even taking off, then all of a sudden off they go to the moon--quite remarkable really

I don't believe that the moon landings were faked but I don't believe it would be as hard to keep it a secret as people suggest if it was. Most people that would be involved would be use to working on highly classified projects, would have singed up to the American Official Secrets Act and would probably consider the project as one of the biggest wins of the cold war. It would be considered as a massive propaganda coup and someone who is a dedicated and patriotic person is unlikely to want to help the commies by exposing the moon landing as fake at the height of the cold war. If they came out after the Cold War then they would just be considered as a nut.

If you worked in the military or for NASA and it was the height of the Cold War and your country was getting smashed in the space race and people were worried about Russian nukes falling on the USA then do you think people would have a desire to go to the papers and say the USA didn't actually win the space race? At the very least you would never work again. You do realise that people got blacklisted simply for being  considered to have communist sympathies.

How many people worked on the atom bomb? The Manhattan project employed 130,000 people why did they all stay quiet? Maybe because they had signed up to the official secrets act and because they realised it was an important part of winning the war. I don't see how a propaganda project at the height of the cold war would be considered different.

True but that just shows how easy it is to compartmentalise these kind of  projects. It's said that only a few dozen knew they were working on an atom bomb. That would be more than enough required to know about a faked moon landing. Most probably didn't ask questions or try and get too involved in what was happening as they considered they were working on something important to winning the war.

Many of the pictures are so obviously false that supporters simply say that they are a mixture of fakes and genuine ones.

There's the lack of dust thrown up when the lander touched down.
No plume behind the lander when it took off again.
The flag blowing in the breeze, when there supposed to be no air.
One of the astronauts gives a running commentary as the lander approaches the moon. Next to the jet engine with no sound coming from it.
Loads of stuff.

The missions were tracked by Jodrell Bank, does anyone really believe that the Russians weren't capable of tracking its whereabouts too? If it was parked in earth orbit wouldn't they have said so? They could track sputnik in earth orbit a decade earlier, Eagle was much bigger.
How does Apollo 13 fit with this conspiracy theory?

The flag was fastened to a Г-shaped rod (see Lunar Flag Assembly) so that it did not hang down. The flag only seemed to flutter when the astronauts were moving it into position. Without air drag, these movements caused the free corner of the flag to swing like a pendulum for some time. The flag was rippled because it had been folded during storage – the ripples could be mistaken for movement in a still photo. Videos show that when the astronauts let go of the flagpole it vibrates briefly but then remains still
This theory was debunked on the MythBusters episode "NASA Moon Landing".

1. The Lunar Modules made no blast craters or any sign of dust scatter.[125]
No crater should be expected. The 10,000-pound thrust Descent Propulsion System was throttled very far down during the final landing.[126] The Lunar Module was no longer quickly decelerating, so the descent engine only had to support the lander's own weight, which was lessened by the Moon's gravity and by the near exhaustion of the descent propellants. At landing, the engine thrust divided by the nozzle exit area is only about 10 kilopascals (1.5 PSI).[127] Beyond the engine nozzle, the plume spreads, and the pressure drops very quickly. Rocket exhaust gasses expand much more quickly after leaving the engine nozzle in a vacuum than in an atmosphere. The effect of an atmosphere on rocket plumes can be easily seen in launches from Earth; as the rocket rises through the thinning atmosphere, the exhaust plumes broaden very noticeably. To lessen this, rocket engines made for vacuums have longer bells than those made for use on Earth, but they still cannot stop this spreading. The lander's exhaust gasses, therefore, expanded quickly well beyond the landing site. The descent engines did scatter a lot of very fine surface dust as seen in 16mm movies of each landing, and many mission commanders spoke of its effect on visibility. The landers were generally moving horizontally as well as vertically, and photos do show scouring of the surface along the final descent path. Finally, the lunar regolith is very compact below its surface dust layer, making it impossible for the descent engine to blast out a "crater".[128] A blast crater was measured under the Apollo 11 lander using shadow lengths of the descent engine bell and estimates of the amount that the landing gear had compressed and how deep the lander footpads had pressed into the lunar surface and it was found that the engine had eroded between 4 and 6 inches of regolith out from underneath the engine bell during the final descent and landing

The astronauts could not have survived the trip because of exposure to radiation from the Van Allen radiation belt and galactic ambient radiation (see radiation poisoning and health threat from cosmic rays). Some conspiracists have suggested that Starfish Prime (a high-altitude nuclear test in 1962) was a failed attempt to disrupt the Van Allen belts.
There are two main Van Allen belts – the inner belt and the outer belt – and a transient third belt.[109] The inner belt is the more dangerous one, containing energetic protons. The outer one has less-dangerous low-energy electrons (Beta particles).[110][111] The Apollo spacecraft passed through the inner belt in a matter of minutes and the outer belt in about  1 1⁄2 hours.[111] The astronauts were shielded from the ionizing radiation by the aluminum hulls of the spacecraft.[111][112] Furthermore, the orbital transfer trajectory from Earth to the Moon through the belts was chosen to lessen radiation exposure.[112] Even Dr. James Van Allen, the discoverer of the Van Allen radiation belts, rebutted the claims that radiation levels were too harmful for the Apollo missions.[113] Plait cited an average dose of less than 1 rem (10 mSv), which is equivalent to the ambient radiation received by living at sea level for three years.[114] The total radiation received on the trip was about the same as allowed for workers in the nuclear energy field for a year[111][115] and not much more than what Space Shuttle astronauts received

Number of conspirators involved

According to James Longuski (Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering at Purdue University), the conspiracy theories are impossible because of their size and complexity. The conspiracy would have to involve more than 400,000 people who worked on the Apollo project for nearly ten years, the 12 men who walked on the Moon, the six others who flew with them as Command Module pilots, and another six astronauts who orbited the Moon.[Note 2] Hundreds of thousands of people – including astronauts, scientists, engineers, technicians, and skilled laborers – would have had to keep the secret. Longuski argues that it would have been much easier to really land on the Moon than to generate such a huge conspiracy to fake the landings.[81][82] To date, nobody from the United States government or NASA who would have had a link to the Apollo program has said the Moon landings were hoaxes. Penn Jillette made note of this in the "Conspiracy Theories" episode of his contrarian television show Penn & Teller: Bullshit! in 2005.[83] With the number of people involved, and noting the Watergate scandal, Jillette noted that someone would have outed the hoax by now.

As i said I personally believe they did land on the moon but it is utterly clueless to suggest that 400,000 people would need to have conspired. it's a bit like saying the skilled labourers who built Auschwitz knew about and conspired in the final solution.

I'm not going to read any of them if they are for me. As I say I don't believe tit was fake. I just don't believe it would be as hard to fake them as some people suggest. If it was faked it's a massive wartime propaganda coup against your opponents in potentially the most destructive war in the history of mankind. It's not like Virgin Atlantic pretending they went to the moon as a PR stunt.
By:

They're not for you.
They're for anyone who has decided it was all fake, just because some people online or trying to write a book said so.
The conspiracy theories are nearly always spurious, at best and are then exaggerated and repeated to prove unreal points.
Because anything written on the internet gets believed or followed by a few people, debunking has to take place, unfortunately this has the effect of feeding the trolls.

They went to the moon, 6 times, it cost billions, 1000's and 1000's of people worked on it, EVERY conspiracy theory has been answered with a rational explanation, there would have been no real need to create such an elaborate hoax - despite people's desperation to think otherwise.

Another thing and this is fairly simple. If they were going to pretend (which they didn't) why do it SIX times???
By:
Shrewd_dude
When: 19 Nov 17 23:46
Why do it six times? because if anyone looks at it with hindsight it's more persuasive if they went 7 times rather than 1. 1000's and 1000'a would have worked on it but it doesn't mean they would all have known it was fake. It wouldn't be the first case or last case of war propaganda where people either didn't know or were reluctant to disclose what happened.

STUDYFORM - look, we know that it was the Brits that first landed on the moon. I mean just look at the documentary film 'The First Men in the Moon' from 1964 where it clearly shows a Union Jack flag being discovered by the astronauts.

Also, how do you explain how a doubledecker London bus got onto the Moon's surface. We know that that is true, cos it showed the picture in the Sun newspaper!

Pres Kenny said in "62 that the USA would land on the moon before the end of the decade,so that was the plan, soon enough it was clear it was a lot harder than they thought, rockets blowing up etc and lets not forget 4 guys burned to death before they even took off,so what the war and this costing vasts amounts and with the fact it was impossible to do,they were forced into a corner so faked the bloody thing so not to lose face and also to beat the Russian who were even more useless imo.

Once humans can do something , and know how to do it , that's what they do.
