Ridiculous in school nowadays bah bah black sheep has been banned. Has it? Where? Been many instances of stuff like this. Schools stopping Nativety Plays another example. Why can they go overboard on St Patricks Day but St George celebrations get frowned upon? Who? The Irish? Who's frowning on celebrating St George's Day? Getting worse each year Rob. Again plenty of instances reported each year. Google both items. |

Up here in Scotland we have a similar problem with the nationalists objecting to the Union Flag flying.
Not banned but we've had councils acting on it. |

I'm not here to google for you Rob but as regards your point I didn't make reference to them complaining, although I think that most likely, but to councils being proactive in case it offends. Reason normally cited was it was flown in the crusades.

It would not be safe to carry the union flag in some parts of Britain, including London .
Now that is a very dangerous situation for any country, If course in London there are people who were photographed in the company of one of the terrorist bombers in a London park carrying an Isis flag. But that seems to be ok and no one was arrested or deported . |
