Can anything happen in the world today without it being linked to far right or left wing luvvies on here?
There used to be a time when a sex pest was just that, a sex pest that needed jailed/hung. Now it seems some people
are more interested in the perverts political views, madness.

i think as he was a political donor, and last election in usa was between a guy
caught bragging about being a sex pest and the wife of an ex presidant who
took advantage of an intern, and the mrs seemed happy to cover it up, then its natural
to be political.

but yeah, it misses the point somewhat, and he needs a trial, quick...

he wants a second chance !!!

USA has a statute of limitations so many of these allegations won't come to trial.

point is, the "progressives" can't keep playing the misogyny or racism card and expect not to be called out for it in their own backyard. They are as guilty as anyone else.

The Hollywood elite fly around the world preaching on how everyone should lead their lives, raising millions for political parties and they cant even control their own backyard. The corruption & hypocrisy on display just staggering,  shows how morally ben t the USA is.

I'm not sure his victims will be interested in his political views so not sure why anyone else should be.
Just get the **** jailed
By:

The victims have been trying for decades to get him jailed but the establishment would not allow it.
By:

When: 12 Oct 17 18:01
Which victim went to the police decades ago?  There's a difference between rumours and going to the police.
He doesn't seem to be getting any backing from the establishment since been outed.
The political points scoring on here is embarrassing at times, from both sides.

JO, I don't know if he's racist, I wasn't referring to him, I meant the "progressives" like the LGBT community where its absolutely rife. Never gets mentioned, of course.

Haven't seen many non white women come forward to denounce him, clearly a racist if he wasn't propositioning enough ethnic girls for cultural balance donny ! Denied them professional advancement for services rendered as well,my word the offences are unlimited in the liberal minds !

Old Joe,Fidel and Mao were notorious for abusing women in their powerful positions, plenty of evidence that left wingers treat women like dirt. The socilist workers party even had a recent case of females being raped but pressured not to bring charges to protect the reputation of the party !!

Nah,just get tired of the hypocrisy of the left anx. I accept much of the sentiment from Labour but have been sickened watching so much abuse as soon as left wingers get into positions of power whether as MP's or housng officers giving out advantages locally, just the nature of people in general I suspect but it certainly ain't a tory monolopoly and I wish Labour could be honest about it instead of preaching.

He has overstepped the mark now, with my fav Claire Forlani ;

You see, nothing happened to me with Harvey — by that I mean, I escaped 5 times. I had two Peninsula Hotel meetings in the evening with Harvey and all I remember was I ducked, dived and ultimately got out of there without getting slobbered over, well just a bit. Yes, massage was suggested. The three dinners with Harvey I don’t really remember the time period, I was 25. I remember him telling me all the actresses who had slept with him and what he had done for them.

Kate Winslet who has been so critical of Harvey Weinstein did an interview with the New York Times last month where she was quoted as saying “Woody Allen is an incredible director. So is Roman Polanski. I had an extraordinary working experience with both of those men, and that’s the truth.” Winslet also called the opportunity to work with Allen as a “now or never” offer, adding: “I knew my parents would be incredibly proud of me working with Woody Allen.”

It's looking like he could be charged, and rape carries a heavy sentence. He may spill the beans on some important people in exchange for a lighter sentence, and I suspect he has a lot of beans to spill.

USA has a statute of limitations so many of these allegations won't come to trial.

A number of states, including California where most of these offences took place, have no Statute of Limitations for rape.

Whole avalanche of claims against this guy now ! Myleene Klass the latest one, apparently she was offered a 'sex contract' by Weinstein but told him to "F*** Off".

During an interview on The Alan Titchmarsh show in 2010, she was talking about what happened but didn't name him, just said "somebody very well known in Hollywood"..... but when pushed on his identity she leaned over and whispered his name to Titchmarsh. Turns out now it was Weinstein, she also said at the time, "It would bring Hollywood down if the story got out. But I won't say anything. It's not my style"

i'm sexist - at least this opinion will sound sexist.

a man is luring young actresses to his hotel rooms ? and they fall for it?
he then talks their ears off and flashes his bits?
but they LEAVE in disgust. this does not sound like a rapist?
he's a bonafide perv. but he's not making contact till they agree?
just touch it baby...

he's not good looking - so he uses what he has - $$$$$
as opposed to someone like Warren Beatty who bedded thousands?

will victims of Beatty appear now? i'm sure there must be a few women not too proud of
being in the queue there?
good looking men are okay?

this is another Jezebel spirit attack on all men that dare to lean in to kiss a girl.

I can understand the first few going to the press by why are they all going public??

Surely if you want him convicted you don't give chapter and verse to the media. You instead go to Plod.

There seems to be a string of women sounding off on all available patforms?!! His lawyers will have a field day playing the 'my client can't get a fair trial' card.

Probably part of the plan.

Good old Colin Firth.

“She told me she had had a distressing encounter with Harvey Weinstein,” Firth told the Guardian. “I don’t think she went into all the horrific detail I’ve read in her interview. But I remember her being profoundly upset by it. To my shame, I merely expressed sympathy.

“I didn’t act on what she told me,” he went on. “It was a long time ago and I don’t know if she remembers telling me, but the fact that I had that conversation has come back to haunt me in the light of these revelations. It’s the only direct account of this kind of behaviour by Harvey Weinstein that’s ever been told to me.”

Zorro

I think you are mistaken. This is NOT another Jezebel spirit attack on all men that dare to lean in to kiss a girl.

I take your point though but in this case the guy was a bully not a perv or a sex addict. He used his position to try and pressurise and intimidate women into doing things with him that most did not want to do.

In any business in this country there are bullies like Winestein who use their power to inflict suffering on others and these scum are not just men. Any number of you must have worked for Companys where certain women held powers of responsibility and if they had a bad day would use them against you. Some would do it just because they had a miserable or no homelife so they took it out on people at work.

The bloke is a **** and there are many like him everywhere. Forget the sensationalism about attractive women being used. The bullying that goes on to make people's life a misery is horrible and we should stand up against it everywhere.
