and if he had said "that keeping intelligent, curious animals in horrific conditions for their entire life, before they meet their grisly end, is as bad as paedophilia"

Then that would have been the kind of simplistic pseudo-scientific bunny-hugging claptrap usually posted by kenny.

Meat eating is with us whether we like it or not.
Best way to get people onside is to accept that whilst trying to make them aware of the horrific conditions some animals are kept in.
Once people are aware of this it might make them think twice about consuming meat.
Getting angry with them aint gonna win many converts.

It is actually. He's converted more people to vegetarianism than most other people, if not all other people.

I was a vegetarian before I became a fan, but it is a big part of why I admire him.

In an interview it was said that Meat is Murder converted more people into vegetarianism than any other statement ever. I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm curious to know if the phrase meat is murder was actually invented by him, or if it was said by anone before him. Does anybody know?

I turned vegeterian because of Moz!
Interesting that you say England is the country with most veggies, I'm not sure if that's true:p

Akabula - You don't eat meat do you?  Given this, I guess your suggested approach is reasonable if your aim is to persuade others.

Yes, I remember blackbarn, sorry to call you a know it all but you do seem patronising at times. Wink

Kenny's attitude towards paedos and sex offenders has always been worrying but the stuff he has come out with today is on another level. Comparing negligence towards domestic animals with abuse of children is abhorrent. Sickening stuff.

That's no proof Kenny.
Lot's of his fans will say this but in reality then who knows.

Kenny - So you remember now, after posting. Never was a poster more in need of patronage and guidance.  You haven't learnt a lot have you, nor are you ever likely to listen to alternative views. I'm out.  Thanks.

Some won't care and others won't know.
Tis the latter we should be targeting.
Those that don't care are beyond words.

Never have I condoned paedophilia. I think it's shocking and abhorrent. Same as the way many animals are treated.

To illustrate hoe confused not so Shrude Dude is.

He half agrees with this satement of mine.

What he should have said, is that keeping intelligent, curious animals in horrific conditions for their entire life, before they meet their grisly end, is as bad as paedophilia.

Because if he said that he wouldn't come across as a complete and utter cretin. Crazy

Then later, after I have posted that there is no way I condone paedophilia, he tells me to give myself a good shake,

Confused

I didn't agree with any of your statement Kenny.

You compared issues such as factory farming and battery chickens with the sexual abuse of  children which is a cretinous thing to do.

I still think you need to give yourself a shake. Hopefully rattle some sense in to you. That comment wasn't in response to your next post as I would have quoted it. It's a ridiculous thing to say and just as bad as the moronic "meat is murder" that your type come out with.

Heaven forbid Morrisey might compare owning a pet with slavery. We'd see your hypocrisy in full action there if that were the case.
