Understanding the treble speak in the quran and subsequent hadiths is like wrestling with snakes.

Maybe this could be put into proportion a bit.
The numbers of crimes committed in the name of religion are not as high as anyone reading this thread might believe. The Wahhabis - as I keep saying, are the ones causing/making/perpetuating the problems. Wahhabis even see other Muslim sects as enemies. So, wolf3011, you have no actual solution then. except selectively quoting from religious stuff about things which happened (or more likely didn't) about 1500 years ago when paedophilia was less of an issue (wrong I grant you, but of its time). Looking at the shiite (sic) you've written, your suggesting I'm typing "mad rants" is a bit pot, kettle, black. As for the intelligence thing. a, I don't think so, and b, so only people you agree with are intelligent? If you had any, you'd understand what I'm saying. I'm not justifying anything, let alone a dangerous mindset. The parallels with Germany are simple, people like you and others here, preach how 'they' are out to get us, taking our jobs, dangerous, supporting a peaedo leader, rapists, etc etc etc ad nauseum. Then many of the public follow, as in Germany in the 1930's. Not hard to understand or even see happening. Crippen another one speaking of me in the 3rd person, I keep telling you, I'm not your god. As for General Opinion..... only on here and similar forums. You are, fortunately not well placed to know about anything popular. |

I cannot believe anyone can come on here and justify this stuff.

Especially trying to run parallels with nazi germany. Same old left trick, gets boring.

Sheikh Muhammad Ayed gave the speech at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem claiming Europe was only welcoming refugees as a new source of labour.
He said Europe was facing a demographic disaster and urged Muslims to have children with westerners so they could 'trample them underfoot, Allah willing.' We will give them fertility. We will breed children with them, because we shall conquer their countries.' |

If every newspaper, and every tv channel, and every political party has people like him opposing ever measure suggested and using ''the peaceful majority'' as a defence.
Then it's no wonder things are getting worse. You can understand Labour holding back, they want their votes to put it bluntly. That's the votes of the peaceful majority. Strange that. So whose side do they think the peaceful majority are on? |
|
By:
It is as if the intellectuals and experts are debating a philosophy, but not a physical problem. The intellectual exercise has been conducted from university learning from decades of 'liberal' thinking which accepts islam as a peaceful so called religion. It even has laws that protects it. It will take many decades to turn that round - if ever. By then islamic influence will be so great that you won't be able to debate it any more. Some muslims don't even want it debated. You also very rarely see critics of islam on tv news and programmes. It simply isn't british.

I haven't read much of this thread but I see there is some discussion of the thoughts of ordinary Muslims some I agree with, some I don't.
Yesterday afternoon, I spent some time in the company of a very good Muslim friend of mine who would be considered as part of the moderate silent majority. We talked about many issues including why Sunnis regard Shias as infidels, male polygamy, atheism and evolution and Koranic teaching. I'm not going to go into any of that but leave you with an anecdotal statement, in her words: "There are some things I don't like or agree with but if my prophet said it, then I have to go along with it". Make of that what you will but I think it describes the thinking in a concise way. |

^Yes and even more to the point - why keep voting for them?
|

The best that people have come up with in putting the questions to the politicians is stuff like liberal, lefty, Corbyn, BBC, Islam apologist. A handful of terms which are the response to any argument, right or wrong. A bubble inside which people fight amongst themselves and label each other's political views while all the politicians(left right whatever) sit together every single day on the same table laughing at you.

What I do not understand is if 1 in 130 are on the watch list why are the 129 in 130 not disowning them.
I agree with Studyform about one sect appearing to be worse. But can we agree things like Cologne should not be happening in the west? We should not be importing a culture that thinks it is ok to treat women who do not cover up differently to those that do. |

It was the indian partition anniversary recently. I read an article on how the british ruled them so successfully. The source was not british but what it said was, the british empowered the minority, the muslims. The majority, the Hindus, never bothered with what the brits were doing. Their only concern was bothering about how the minority muslims were getting mor rights and favors. The best that the hindus managed was fight against the muslims, without ever asking the brits why they were supporting the minority.
I see UK and Europe today and its the same thing. The politicians side with the muslims, the minority. That keeps the majority busy in worrying about the muslims. No one asks the politicians any questions, because the faults of Islam are staring you right in your face and you just cant see past it. Divide and Rule. Works every fecking time. |
|
By:
That's right det. What we also learn from it is that it all ended up very badly indeed.
|
|
By:
Ended up badly for the brits or the indians?
|
|
By:
For the Indians of all creeds.

The ruling elite could go back home. I wonder where the ruling elites of Europe think they can flee if and when they eventually lose control of the situation?
|

By:
detraveller.
You are absolutely right. The politicians need (in this case) Muslims, or benefit scroungers, or a nice war somewhere, to keep the people from getting to close. They don't want any brakes applied to the gravy train (think MP's expenses for example). More especially, they use the media to assist. I think that is harder to fight against than to try refuting the indoctrination. |

By:
I can't believe this has happened again.

Studyform,
What do you suggest we do about the it? Internment? Halt immigration? Or just keep on with same policies? |

By:
More especially, they use the media to assist
Read The Sun and read The Times; both owned by Murdoch but he wouldn't insult the intelligence of Times readers with the cr@p he churns out in The Sun. |

the thin edge of the wedge is firmly driven in to this country. We do not have a strong enough philosophy to oppose it. All we have is some mish mash of 'liberalism' that welcomes all. Not a strong suit in my opinion.

Excellent post from wolf and Foinavon's anecdote is very interesting.
The problem as F alludes to is Mohammed. He's untouchable and beyond criticism or even discussion. He stands as Islam's only prophet and what he says goes. In the Hadiths he says martydom (whilst killing the infidel) is the highest calling. His dream was to be martyred over and over again. Not just for reward but because the sheer act of dying killing the unbeliever is the greatest achievement. This work is not for those who have been 'radicalised' ( a made up word to avoid the problem). What Mohammed describes and commands is for any and every Muslim. That's why thousands upon thousands come forward to die in 50 countries (so far). Islam is a death cult. I've yet to see ANY discussion on Mohammed in the press. |

There are now a growing representation of islam within all spheres, particularly the law and tv media.
They have already tried to get aspects of sharia law incorporated into british law. Even your current prime minister thinks this good. Much more pressure to come. It just takes time until the demographic swings it I have always said 20,000 in 300 constituencies will do it. Work it out yourselves It is not such a large number. I rest my case |
|
By:
I don't understand this obsession with convincing everyone that islam is bad. Muslims around the world do a good enough job of that already. They have a book that says explicitly what they want to do. There is no secret to it unlike Illuminati or KKK or something similar. Once you've convinced everyone how bad Islam is, you still have to run to the politicians to help you get rid of the issues. And they are the ones supporting it in the first place.
How do you intend to change that? |
|
By:
I have no solutions, other than nipping it in the bud. Stopping the beliefs before they begin.
I'm not certain, but isn't that the aim of the quilliam foundation? Stop all trading with wahhabists. |

the CIA warn the Spanish that theres going to be an attack,we are told by eye-witnesses there are loads of cops hanging around, one or two vans are able to drive and mow down scores of innocent people then they close the road off! really??
|
|
By:
Is the quilliam foundation getting any success or is it just part of the problem?
|
|
By:
Part of the solution is getting off oil as much as we can. The Saudis are currently above the law.
It's insane to look at this through left/right politics. It's gone so far and is so complex. Dozens of things would need to change. I don't see any solutions being put forward by our leaders bar having vigils. |

FEAR is the key

The politicians and the people who really run countries aren't bothered. They've got great security. They've got the excuse to control resource rich parts of the world, the excuse to keep tabs on us, we're arguing amongst ourselves and living in fear.

This was a big cell. What they were actually planning doesn't bare thinking about. Mind you 14 dead and 130 injured is enough. Absolute scum.
I don't even think a lot of them are massively religious. Isolated, into petty crime and a being muslim and the link to becoming a terrorist is sadly becoming smaller and smaller.....it's being normalised for these nutjobs. |

Day in, day out. Month in, month out. Year in, year out. Whatever your position we're on here discussing the religion of peace
Supposedly there about two to three million in this country of sixty five million. Imagine what it will be like when there's ten million ![]() |

apols for going off topic but i'm sure i read all major cities were introducing bollards to main pedestrian areas after the Nice attacks. I'm amazed someone can drive so far at speed after all that's gone on in the last year. It's not as if this was a surprise.
