Maybe more likely to be someone who was banned and had no outlet to vent their anger ?

Don't want to speculate too much on what happened, though I thought to share my lols at how many people are trying to find excuses for the guy. Must remember the 3 points on his licence line next time someone else drives into a crowd!
Secondly, if the BBC, the PM and the head of the Met are calling it terrorism I'd say it's safe to say they've got good reason and wouldn't just bandy that word around if it was an accident. What I came here for though is people's opinions on motivations. You will 100% hear of cries against radical preachers and the like if it's a muzzy doing it. And rightly so. Anyone inciting hatred and violence should be charged and punished. There was a post on the 1st page I think about the MSM( ). While I think we can agree he was referring to 2 or 3 specific papers, I think we're missing a bigger point here. The problem isn't the Mail, it's on twitter, on facebook, on their own youtube channels or websites. Following the Manchester attack, Katie Hopkins said we needed a Final Solution. Then check out this video: https://twitter.com/imraansiddiqi/status/876691934881882112 "Enemy combatants who want to kill you" Now, someone tell me how that isn't inciting racial hatred and violence. Imagine if that was Choudry saying those same words. Why should it be any different if the guy's skin colour has changed? |

If this was a Muslim hating nutjob it will only feed the narrative that Islam is good, being victimised and needs protecting, nurturing and encouraged.

injera - maybe muslim people are good, are being victimised etc etc

What's occurring at the Oval, stabbing someone apparently but can't seem to find much about it
|

I didn't say Muslim PP. I said Islam. Fundamental difference.
Protect and nurture Islam and it will of course spread rapidly. Among the majority of peaceful Muslims there will be a dangerous minority who will cause untold harm, resulting in revenge attacks and a breakdown of society. |
|
By:
Who's nurturing Islam (apart from Muslims obvs)?
Protecting people's rights to observe the religion of their choosing and to pray to whatever god or whatever is different to nurturing that thing no matter how paranoid you might be. As for your last line, well you could swap Muslims for Christians or Brits frankly. As someone else pointed out we're now in the realms of copycat tactics made all the easier since they don't have to go to the trouble of having to build a bomb. |

One thing is for sure i think we are in for a lot more of this nonsense , cant see and end to it all

We have to see what happened PP. As with the fire there are so many different and changing stories.
It looks like the terrorist has been arrested for attempted murder. This is the kind of thing I do not understand: One witness to the attack, who gave the name Abdulrahman, said: “He wanted to run away and was saying, ‘I want to kill Muslims.’ So he came back to the main road and I managed to get him to the ground and me and some other guys managed to hold him until the police arrived, for about 20 minutes I think, until the police arrived.” Yet the iman and the PM say the police were there almost straight away. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jun/19/finsbury-park-attack-suspect-named-as-cardiff-resident-darren-osborne |

Couldn't agree more. Especially when a few hours beforehand this particular sort of nonsense is inexplicably allowed on the streets of London. . http://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/presenters/maajid-nawaz/maajid-authorities-scared-of-offending-muslims/ |

They got lucky in Paris, the car was full of firearms and explosives.
Also something going on in Kidderminster. . https://tinyurl.com/yct7m4yk |

IT - I find you always have to be very careful with eye witness reports in the immediate aftermath of an event. Can be massively unreliable. Often, the witness will big up their own role in something where they may have been an idle bystander or only seen a glimpse.
It's why I think it's important that such conservative types like the beeb and the PM are still calling it terrorism. I think the guy has now been charged with terrorism offences too. The beeb is always the last to report anything. They will check and double-check their sources before putting their name to it. I think my point about Hopkins and Robinson stand though, whatever the outcome to this incident is. I hadn't seen that video of his before but for the life of me I can't see how that's not inciting racial hatred. I think social media platforms should be made to take responsibility for what's posted on them frankly. |

people dont tend to check watches for exact times whilst holding a terrorist
lots of folk have no idea how long 5,10,20 minutes is , and even more so as events unfold iman , when questioned on news said he didnt know as he had been inside at time almost straight away could mean as soon as they could |

On the local news tonight in the West Country it was confirmed he is from Cardiff, has a partner and 4 children, but he grew up in Weston-Super-Mare - where his mother and other family members still live. His mother didn't appear on camera but said to a reporter, "He is not a terrorist, he has mental health problems."

I dont think you could say the same about Robinson. He has been on the front line for years warning us about this and how it will divide us. I have never seen footage of him encouraging violence. I just see him begging the government to do something. He is 5 or 10 years ahead of the rest of us having seen Luton change. Listen to his Oxford Union speech if you are unsure. |

That may well be true Tell Del but I doubt it was an accident as suggested by cardenden.
|

By:
Cardenden - why do you think it was an accident? Not the "I think he took a wrong turn" bit, but what in all that you've read or watched on this makes you think it was an accident?

Channel 4 news will be having orgasms whilst reporting on this

Someone filmed him being put into a police Van
He waved at the camera, not your normal response in an "accident" of this sort ![]() |

"Enemy combatants who want to kill you" ??? |

PP,
Something tells me you havent even bothered to watch the full clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rket4xvu_ac What does he say in the full video the next second after your clip cuts off? This is the trouble with the redical-left and the media. They try and cut up and distort what people say to demonize people and divide us. |

PP,
You appear to be so sucked in to being politically correct that you put Robinson on a par with ISIS preachers? Are you for real? Do you even understand the context of the video? Have you watched it all? Do you dismiss it all and think he is talking rubbish? All his warnings pre-Rotherham were wrong? In your view is there nothing to see here. Everything is fine and there will not be more and more terrorism if we do not address this issue??? I am amazed you are so blinkered. Do you also support the 'Al Quds Day' March in London yesterday? |
