Finished watching Moody and Pegg - only 12 episodes? somehow I thought it lasted a lot longer. Must have seen it when I was eight?
the scale of lifestyle back then was a lot simpler. 50p for a take-away? in one episode - A guest at the house was discussing the second ice-age. All before they started up with Global warming in later years. I think all that bumph started with the Ozone layer? stop using spray cans? then it snowballed into controlling all your activities. My brother has just come back from a UFO (the 1970's TV show) enthusiasts' convention in Derby which he organised. About 150 attended including some of the actors/writers etc. from the show.
He said to me this evening that it went down well and was a great success. |
