I found it interesting when he said "I supported the cause for peace" or something along those lines, with a huge pause after "The Cause".

I watched the Tories trying to twist words about a 30 year old meeting.
Sophy Ridge (whoever she is) was dreadful. The question was more than answered, but she kept asking it and the TV and papers were all over it as the latest smear campaign.

With regards Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell it's not merely a case of condemning a politician because one doesn't happen to like their social, economic or fiscal policies.

In McDonnell we're talking about a man who advocated the murder of British citizens, honouring those who actually committed such heinous acts of brutality, and somebody who counts IRA killers amongst his circle of friends.  It is important to note that he does not deny these despicable truths about his past.  A few grovelling apologies on television, however, are simply not good enough in this instance; the man is running for high office in a country whose people he once opined "only heeded to bullets and bombs."  The very fact that this dangerous individual is permitted to be shadow chancellor brings shame to all of us, not just the Labour Party.  Corbyn's historical alliances, although not quite as abhorrent as his chosen deputy, are also worthy of contempt; his links with Hezbollah, Hamas and the IRA all being widely known. 

If we had any sense neither man should be permitted within ten miles of the Houses of Parliament, much less prominent members of Her Majesty's opposition.  Labour are evidently shambolic and no longer the party best representing British workers.  I, unlike many right wingers, take no delight in this fact whatsoever.  Our country desperately needs a trustworthy, credible and competent alternative to the incumbent government, an impossible scenario with the likes of Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott at the helm.
