people worked themselves into so much of a frenzy now with Corbyn that holidays are bad

you have that wrong we have worked ourselves into such a frenzy trying to negate anything good about corbyn (in the media) that we need a holiday as we are exhausted from our exertions from telling the great unwashed that corby is UNGOOD |

Britain is near the bottom of the league for bank holidays with a grand total of 8 , Most other European countries have 11 or 12 with America having 10 , Japan 14 , Russia 15 etc , I suppose we could always go back to the days when there were no bank holidays or indeed holidays at all, that would take us back to the Victorian Values of a recent prime minister and her love of money and greed and having people working all day for a pittance
