Self employed does not mean you cant go cut someones grass fort them if your a gardener
If your a DJ you get more work If your a tradesman you can do more homers and get more cash Delivery drivers i get parcels on Sundays from Hermes so im sure they ill work Bank Holidays A painter can paint on his own surely or do his van wheels get clamped on Bank Holidays |

Many clients don't want the self employed to turn up on bank holidays.
BHs are a pain in the ar*e for us self employed. |

TheBaron has a point with ZERO hour workers but i aint having this Self Employed workers will be hurt bad.A self employed worker should not be stuck on what to do with 4 days a year.It will never be 4 hardly anyway like today St Georges day is a Sunday anyway. |

Not at all. Just pointing out that BHs are not great for a growing section of the population.
Anyway, it's a daft suggestion from a desperate party. Far better to be honest with us and say we need to work harder, pay more tax to fund the black hole in NHS and elderly care budgets. |

Scotland Schools been getting half days for 20+ years now i think

I remember on here people used to say a 4 day week would be plenty as other countries do this

I'm all for workers getting more holidays but it would be better if they could choose when to take them rather than odd days here and there which only cause disruption especially for corporations with export markets.

They would get the choice to work the Bank Holiday if the place they worked at was open
Like Easter Monday shops are still open people take holidays and some work |
