The attacker was identified last night as Muslim Fatmir H. from Kosovo but authorities are not calling this a terror attack.
Seven people including two police officers were injured when a man wielding an axe went on the rampage at a train station in Dusseldorf. The suspected culprit, identified as Fatmir H, from Kosovo, has been arrested and German anti-terror police confirmed they are not hunting anyone else. The 36-year-old ran towards a nearby underground station and jumped from a bridge as he attempted to flee. But he was arrested after seriously injuring himself in his unsuccessful escape attempt and is now being treated in hospital. Police said he was in an ‘exceptional mental state’ at the time. Pictures from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, the city’s main station, showed one of the victims lying helplessly on the floor as paramedics rushed to their aid. His victims included three men, a woman and a 13-year-old girl, with the teenager suffering lacerations to her upper arm. Three were seriously injured. A motive for the attack has not yet been determined but the suspect, believed to be from Kosovo, suffers from mental health problems. Police said this morning that they had ruled out an Islamic fundamentalist motive for the attack. |

Good heavens! No wonder my ears were burning yesterday, that is quite a lively debate, gentlemen. I note with some dismay that Dave's original insult has fallen foul of the moderators; always rather a vexing occurrence as it renders any witty riposte adrift in the wild.

Should be noted that by repeating the absurd 'he was from the former Yugoslavia' quote, the MSM have failed to fool the public. In fact they have succeeded in reinforcing the suspicion we have towards them, the Govt and all stations in between.

Terrorism in Europe has gone on as long as most of my living memory I even lived in Paris
when nail bombs were going off all over the place and armed military manned Paris's main stations.The threat you talk about has always existed but without a voice a threat diminishes I think the fears of most people on here well outweighs the actual physical danger they are in and by amplifying this they seem to reinforce a kind of Xenophobia that has negative consequences so as to make divisions within society. |
