I've noticed it before, throughout the last couple of years. There's SO much Gung-honess going on.

once i was asked by a barber was i Swedish, and then American.
i like to answer such nationalist questions with a steely silence.
Partly because they're all frightened to 'rock the boat' and do anything which isn't grovelling enough to get them a fresh 6 month contract when the next project comes about and partly because they're not very bright.
But all this "British" stuff seems more an agenda than is normal.
There's no benefit to being patriotic, yet everyone is convinced they should be!
but Britain is different, its very difficult to create a successful country. Take a look around the world, the best we can hope for is that things don't get worse?
