I saw niall quinn in a betting shop once. he asked the cashier to turn up the tv, quite right as it was inaudible.

No-one getting preachy about FOBT addicts.

Just about the machines. Which should all be destroyed.

Just ignore 'lewisham ranger', the poster is a timewaster and non-receptive to any differing views; got the poster on ignore for several years now.

I seem to remember seeing his name before - on the more radical politico etc, threads.

I cannot see the above post or any of the poster's posts as the poster is on ignore, and it would not surprise me if the poster frequent more radical political threads given the narcissistic definitive opinion and judgement reflected in the above post.

I'm a regular here, and The Exchange and frequently take positions on prestigious antepost races mainly Group and Graded pitting my wits and horsey knowledge against the industry traders and professional pundits/tipsters. But I'd never say I'm a gambling addict (and I'm not in denial) courtesy of my upbringing, work ethos and understanding of the chances of winning and vagaries of betting; grateful and pure luck.

Horse betting is just a hobby sometimes a taxing one for fear of the traders getting one over me, but it is fun; vindication is key, reward is a bonus; a loss is an education.
