I doubt that IP address is the main control, that would prevent multiple people on the same router from signing.
The government site sends you a clickable link in an email to the address you provide. You must click it to complete the process. You can't sign a petition more that once with the same email address. I guess if you own more than one address you could sign multiple times, but I'm not going to try it to test it. Doubtless a determined fraudster could devise a method, but it's hardly worth it for a petition. |

IP address ??? Talk about being out-of-touch
![]() I think you'll find 9 years olds have worked out how to mimic multiple IP addresses ![]() ![]() |

If the Muslim majority wanted to disown and root out militant extremists they probably could. Collectively they do nowt much and simply leave the problem to the West.

Do you know what?
I'm not really bothered. Brexit - Yippee Trump - Yippee Democracy - Yippee I win, pinkos, libtards lose. And libtards, you'd better get used to it. The silent majority is waking up (at long last) |

IP address ??? Talk about being out-of-touch
I think you'll find 9 years olds have worked out how to mimic multiple IP addresses I was responding to a previous post (which I forgot to quote) |

Wow, 1.3 million.
That's an avalanche of condemnation. |
By:
Not really, is it. Just 1.3 million who don't realise they are irrelevant.
By:
How many Muslims do we have in this country?
By:
Wow, 1.3 million.
Whiners.. |
By:
Did they have petitions when Pinochet and Mugabe visited us?
By:
1.3 million but over 20 million have not WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
By:
So the petition has been signed by 1,299,999 Muslims and me ?
By:
Seems quite a huge figure, hopefully one that will resonate internationally. It is encouraging to see that CNN, USA Today, Reuters etc are picking up the vibe.
By:
No ss. Its been signed by hundreds of thousands of people who completely ignore things like mass rapes carried out by muslim immigrants in our cities but froth at the mouth of the very word Trump.
By:
1.3 million , its curious the pleasure that gives me, that Trump can annoy so many : )
By:
Are people in other countries allowed to sign it?
By:
Student-politics grandstanding.
Engage....debate....protest....listen to what makes your enemies tick and then trust to the intellectual rigor of the public to come down on the side with the best ideas. Or, ban (and in the process give some outlaw rebel chic to Trump) and convince yourselves you've 'won' because you've not given a platform to a 'Nazi'.....you phooking idiot |
By:
i have not signed the petition
i would prefer trump to visit uk and see for himself what folk think about him |
By:
Im guessing you automtically think most people share your view of Trump.
By:
There s no chance of the petition being successful; the arm of the establishment is beating the dust out of the moth eaten brocade in readiness for the charade even as we vote. No matter that the state visit goes ahead; the idea is to let the good people of the USA know that we good people of the UK were not accurately represented by the stooping stick-insect in Washington last week.
By:
I must admit I admire Trump, it's true.
I tell lies somewhere else , but not here, not in front of myself . |
By:
Those folk would be the noisy representatives of a minority in this country, donny, what would their appearance prove?
By:
UB is another one who thinks he speaks for everyone when he doesnt.
By:
No so, Dotchanite. For example, I don't want to be on the same side as you.
By:
a minority of this country on what basis ?
there will be those that like him and those that do not |
By:
By:
The people in this country who want him banned are clearly a small minority donny, what didn't you understand about what I said?
By:
What the libtards seem to not understand is simply this ...
the US is a democracy. Trump won the election. He said what he would do when he was campaigning. The majority voted him in. He's starting to do what he said he would do. Do you have to be thick to be a libtard? |
By:
No the majority did not vote him in , he won the electoral college but he did not win the popular vote
By:
what did i not understand
i just read what you posted,........ you have now clarified what you meant, after i questioned it you clearly understood what i did not understand ! if you think more folk approve of trump than dis approve of him , i think you would be wrong, but of course that is not what you posted |
By:
I say let him come if he is invited there are far bigger issues than him visiting, that's if he can drag himself away from his twitter account
By:
we have twitter over here anxious !

By:
not won the popular vote ???
hello, Georg W Bush ringing any bells??? |
By:
The petition won't stop the visit, for sure. The important thing is that the UK sends a message to America.
By:
Trump did not win the popular vote unless you believe 3 million dead voted for hilary
By:
off topic george w bush was one of the worst tipsters in betfair history
along with moneytree and the big dogg |
By:
anxious.
He got the majority of the Electoral College votes. The majority voted him in. You've proven my point, thanks. Do you have to be thick to be a libtard? |
By:
With the rest of Europe treating us like enemies, I think the UK message will be "welcome" from those with an eye to the future, ub.
