It is a bit of a shame.
You have to recognise (and honour) the title and the office, not the man, if it's a state visit. Maybe if it gets to 50% of UK adults (20 million?) then look at it. I wonder how many press the petition button for a laugh? |

2 million for a state visit if you want to start one

Sounds like the one the Remainers tried to keep us the EU. The pro-eu, anti-Trump media pulling the strings as usual.

everyone on that list should be banned from visiting America

Why would I want to go to Trumpland ?
|

By:
well it's like this, it's America. That's a good enough reason for any sensible person.
Who would deny that ? |

Obama wrecked Libya creating a migrant catastrophe and a civil war. Nothing is said.
U.S. President Barack Obama stated on 11 April 2016 that not preparing for a post-Gaddafi Libya was probably the "worst mistake" of his presidency.[4] - wiki Trump bans a few Muslims and suddenly he's Satan. Funny old world. |
|
By:
The difference might just be Injera that Obama was capable of realising he made mistakes.

People are upset over Trump banning people from America, their response ban Trump.
How hypocritical is that. |

Yes, just like Merkel.

Has Merkel admitted any mistakes ? I don't know

Was Lybia a mistake, not really. It did rely on Lybia acting in a grateful manner and building a peaceful country.
Perhaps America won't make that mistake again |

There were ten times more air strikes in the covert war on terror during President Barack Obama’s presidency than under his predecessor, George W. Bush.
Obama embraced the US drone programme, overseeing more strikes in his first year than Bush carried out during his entire presidency. A total of 563 strikes, largely by drones, targeted Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen during Obama’s two terms, compared to 57 strikes under Bush. Between 384 and 807 civilians were killed in those countries, according to reports logged by the Bureau. - Bureau of Investigative Journalism. Again, very little said, no criticism from our media or politicians. Yet when Mo Farah might be refused entry to the US, Trump is compared to Hitler. Seriously, this is beyond childish. |

This sort of nonsense creates a very bad impression of Britain.

You cannot have a debate about it when those who shout loudest have already made up their minds.
That is why Trump and Brexit happened. The silent majority have been gagged for years by the type of people that signed that petition. |

everywhere must take care of itself, so that everyone can be free and easy everywhere.

of course people who have signed this petition are not selfish, unlike someone like myself who would be ashamed to sign it. They have signed something, asking that someone else does something.

By:
Is that rude ? , I don't know, but they are not asking very nicely.

Trumpy is dragging unspoken truths about Islam into the arena of public debate, the longer he lasts the harder it will be for the multiculturalists to re-bury the blatant dangers of their ideology.

agree with saddo.....very dangerous ideology .......even the moderate muslims will not condemn the fundamenlists.....

The Left is now so messed-up that they regard Islam as their best friend, and Trump as their enemy. We in the UK even have a political party that sucks up to The Religion of Peace by shamefully staging Segregated Meetings.
The (so-called) feminists on the March Against Trump have never uttered a peep of protest against the hourly oppression of their sisterhood in the lands where peace-loving religions rule. Many of these privileged Western women, who thankfully have never suffered a day's oppression in their lives, absurdly even wore hijabs 'in support' of the peace-loving community. |

Am i seeing this right? Trump was invited to visit a useless woman and the people want it to not happen? And now it will be considered for debate in the parliament? What a waste of time!
As for multiple votes, who says you cant vote twice? Ive done that before. And im neither a UK resident nor a citizen. In fact i just signed the same peition twice. I'd sign it more times if i was remotely interested in stopping something as useless as this visit. |

The real extremists are the ones who want to allow people who are incompatible to our way of life to enter by the million and then cover up and ignore the damage they have done.
