Not sure who he's taking over from, I'm only an occasional listener. Although I'll probably tune in more now. He's also on tonight 10pm - 1am.

Why on earth is the nonentity Farage being given airtime ?
His bigoted views are risible. |
By:
Farage is just a Public School boy with oratory skills carefully aimed at fear mongering
he is the bloke that points out you you have a flat tyre and walks by you and you're car off into the sunset...He is milking the celeb limelight on the back of a divisive vote has no idea what Brexit Britain will look like but will throw around a few meaningless catch phrases like "take back control", "make this our independence day".If the system was full of spanners like him we would be living in a dystopian nightmare. |

It's working, the seethers are out already. Well done LBC.
By:
Brilliant news..the man is a legend. If you have heard him this week on the 10-1am slot you can't be anything else but impressed. The switchboard lights up when he's on the air and he gives his detractors as much time as his supporters.Great signing by LBC..bit like Southend Utd signing Messi because the rest of the station is total $hit.

By:

Farage is not a non-entity, without Farage we would still be in Europe, he has changed the course of British history.
Problem is he may have given the right wing a massive leg up. |
By:
He may be using LBC to keep a higher profile.
By:
farage has been rearly good since he started on LBC he never insults anyone
By:
What people forget is that a majority can be wrong..

I listened to his show last night.
Farage is remarkably polite when he's dealing with the public. A true gentleman. |
By:
He went to a public School that's how they teach them ffs
![]() |
By:
He mentioned the sexual assaults in Austria on NYE. I note the main stream media are now reporting the story.
By:
Gosh he must be a genius then I take everything back..
By:
Of course he is. He went to public school as you so kindly pointed out.

The Leopard 05 Jan 17 11:05 ' Farage has changed the course of British history ' Don't be ridiculous.. |
By:
Goodness me, denial is only the second stage of the grief process, we have some way to go.
By:
No; he has changed the course of world history. Single handedly, and in the face of that very same political world being vehemently and vitriolically against him. A true hero in the cause of freedom.
By:
dont know if he has changed history or was mouthpiece to others but history
has changed not sure about world history , i think europe may survive without us in their club, and we will survive outside of their club stirring up right wing is a route i would have prefered to have avoided but farage has achieved his aim without gaining a foothold in mainstream politics may, corbyn, et al need to be careful else he is still there waiting and ready to sit at their table |

At the end of the day Nigel is the only politician that the general masses resonate with.He speaks for the SENSIBLE man in the street and its simply reprehensible he was overlooked in the New Years honours list.
