I've got a few bottles of beer I've had for ages, can't remember how long but ages. I'm looking for an expiry date and I can't see any.
On cans the expiry date is easy to find. Where the hell is it on a beer bottle ???

Just drink it. I bought maris piper potatoes with a use by date of 22nd December.Still using them. God I love living life on the edge! 
maris pipers are a sturdy breed, tho. I've ate them a month after buying them

Drink with some out of date crisps - the two will neutralise each other !
Get the runs...Not worth it as so cheap to buy. If it's all you got...drink up.
Potatoes have a best before date NOT a use by date. If they are past and haven't sprouted, eat them. If they have, plant them.
Open one and take a sniff at the contents, if you detect any vinegar like smell it is probably orrfff! High alcohol beers usually last longer.
Taste is your best guide.
I remember years ago a small supermarket that used to sell 24 cans of booze very cheap.

smell it, if it smells ok taste it, if it tastes ok drink it, if you don't get the **** BINGO!
The stronger the alcohol, the longer it will keep for. That should be excuse enough to buy to buy in future.
it should be fine, you should be able to tell by the taste if it's gone off, I've had beers that are a couple of years past their sell by date and they've been fine
