Personally, I'd imagine it's being deliberately held back until Trump comes in. The heads of CIA and others will be waiting to see how he responds and how their relationships with him are before deciding what further information should be shared.

Regarding his supine foreign policy, firstly I haven't studied it much but wasn't he initially elected partly on a platform of bringing back the troops from Afghanistan and Iraq as that policy had patently failed for the last decade or thereabouts?

The Trump loons seem to be out in force on this thread. Quite obviously if Obama had been able to stand he would have got in again. Even Clinton got 2.5 million more votes than Trump.
