Hi mememe,YES!I spoke last night and it went very,very well.In fact it went so well that I was awarded a blue ribbon with the words BEST SPEAKER written upon it.(I'll put a pic up later).I was simply being myself and I talked about what I know,shyness,social anxiety and years and years of wasted years.To everyone here who said Good Luck or Best Wishes,etc,...I THANK YOU ALL!

I think culvin should have become a soldier when he left school. The fact is to be a good soldier you have to think absolutely nothing, or deliberately as little as possible.

There are moments in the military that are lovely, just as when the officer commands "at ease"
that might suit culvin, who would it not ?

Before she went back to Hungary,in a message i sent her i basically said that i had fallen in love with her.Ive not received a reply back.She may think i'm a bit of a loser because i told her i had a job in a hospital cleaning toilets.She is or is training to be a clinical psychologist.She is due to return to Endland in january.I may see her on the 9th jan.

@paulypaul,"What's the background to your speech?I'm curious"...Because i was unemployed for years the job centre really got on my case and so i felt because i was so completely screwed up by shyness,social anxiety,etc i had no option but to sign off and try and survive by gambling and thats what i did.For years i claimed no dole at all,i learned about matched betting from a forum at MoneySavingExpert and thats where i made £70 per week or so,my rent money,basically.As long as i could pay my rent i was happy......Anyway,i'm rambling a bit here..and so i'll ask the ? WHAT CHANGED YOUR LIFE AROUND?...My life was changed around because of the help and advice i received about 8 months ago from a very special beautiful person named Nicola and it just so happens that i will be meeting her again tomorrow.I look forward to that meeting very,very much.

from my experience speaking in public and shyness are not really the same. its possible to speak public with some confidence and still be shy. its like Michael Jackson,very confident when performing on stage,but he was a shy person when off stage.
