Not many will agree with my vote but i think it's probably influenced by how much i love the film. It's also very underrated so i'm here to say it's absolutely fecking brilliant......

How the mood of the film changed so many times he was excellent, the scene that stands out for me rather than the eggs was the walk back to his bunk after he " cracked " great scene among many. |

Agree with everyone who mentioned The Hustler, Butch Cassidy.., The Sting, The Verdict, Cool Hand Luke, Hombre. The guy made lots of great films. Got the Oscar for The Color of Money of course, but "The Verdict" was the one he really deserved it for. The Mackintosh Man was also a very enjoyable thriller. Sadly, they just don't make stars like this anymore!
