Want me to dig up the dozens of links where the entire media immediately jumped at mental illness as a cause for what Dylan Roof or other white mass shooters in the US and elsewhere did while I'm at it?

Do remember how resiliant the media were to call out Dylann Roof, Anders Breivik and Robert Lewis Dear Jr. as what they are - terrorists? The first two white supremacy terrorists, the latter one a full blown Christian terrorist, but instead they were mostly just described as mentally ill killers or mass murderers. Even if muslim terrorists are described as mentally ill, the terrorist label is always there. Rightly so, but we're failing to call the non-muslim terrorists out for what they are a lot of times.

Similar story with migrant crime. Stuff that would be reported in a local newspaper at best if a local white dude commits it, makes front page national news if it's done by a muslim looking dude. Why was no medical evidence called on the state of Mair’s mental health?

The prosecution would have had no interest in proving that he was insane, or that his responsibility was diminished as a result of mental health problems.

Why then did the defence not call any such evidence? Insanity or, more realistically, manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility, provided the only remotely plausible escape route from a life sentence. So why did the jury not hear from any psychiatrist? There are quite a number of explanations: perhaps Mair had refused to co-operate with the preparation of any such report. Perhaps he had co-operated but the psychiatrists had agreed that he was entirely sane and not suffering from any relevant mental health problems.

The intent is clear. Smear those MILLIONS of British people who are preparing to vote to LEAVE next Thursday. Emotionally blackmail them, embarrass them – make them either stay at home or change their mind.

The BBC has been sickening over this – as has it’s print arm, The Guardian. They are implying that the likes of UKIP are the “hate” that drove Mair to kill. This grotesque calumny is the only show in town today. Shameful.

One week before the EU referendum, with Vote Leave ahead and with clear momentum, and Cameron floundering – all of a sudden this. Campaigning has been suspended, I suspect some would like to see the actual vote suspended. And all the while the BBC is working feverishly to politicise a murder.

I questioned his sanity because he seemed to have some history of Mental Health issues Akabula.

He visited a out patients department for mental illness for one thing.

He had shown no sign of violence until this appalling act.

He had a secret addiction to far right groups, despite seeming very placid outwardly.

I think he was of mixed race parentage himself, which may have added to his mental confusion, deeper than people realised.
