Hillary Clinton did not get more votes than Trump. You could only say that if the election was being run on a different system and then we cannot be sure how the votes would go.
Because if the election had been run on a popular vote system then Trump and Hilary would have campaigned on that system and Trump would probably have won again. |

Let me explain, how people voted depends to some extent on how Trump and Clinton campaigned, where they campaigned, the nature and state of where they campaigned, etc now this has an effect on how people vote at least to some extent and in places like California a large extent.
If Trump thinks California is lost he will not worry if all the voters there vote Clinton, and this distorts the popular vote. |

We can't criticise the American voting system when the UK allows a party to get 4 million votes and only one MP.
Then another gets less than 1.5 million votes and 56 seats in Parliament. And we think we've got democracy in the UK? Now wonder there are plenty of commies like anxious left in politics. |
