Who can say the BBC is impartial.
What would be comical would be Cleggy during his coalition days, lying to millions of students and then being destroyed by Farage on the televised debate on the EU., and then Clegg disowned by the country. |
By:
at least you know where you stand with Kim Jong-un
this lot are a different level, even though we full well know the majority voted out we find it appropriate to make a comedy show out of the main man that won it |
By:
& they even got Trump in the pathetic program

The Mock of the week episode which was on straight after that Ron was well chosen as well.It immediately starts off by each lame luvvie comedian taking it in turns to have a pop at Farage on the Di James photo. Where is the impartiality? |
By:
saw the bloke doing his impresson on sunday brunch;good enough reason not to watch it and my decision seems vindicated from feedback on here
By:
not sure a pretty gentle parody of farage is an attack on the 17.5 million people who voted to leave.
my guess would be that a lot of leave voters have little time for the man, and whilst he was instrumental in getting cameron to call the referendum, the idea that it was him, and not Cummings and his gang which tipped it, is pretty fanciful. |
By:
I don't follow any political party tbh, but the way Nigel handled the Brexit campaign
that succeeded made me really take a liking to the man. so to have a supposed comedy show made out of that person seems very unfair, & it wasn't even one bit funny |

If all the leaders were to be subjected to that type of prgramme it would be reasonable. Cant ever see the BBC doing a similar hatchet job on Corbyn, the howls of outrage would be never ending. Typical snide BBC staffers.

soon as i see it advertised treetop alarm bells were ringing.
exactly as i was expecting tbh, lets just test to see what we can force feed them. |
By:
every politician of any relevance is mocked in sketches, cartoons, columns, topical shows and comedies on a near weekly basis.
sure the 30 minute show is a bit more involved, but it was hardly a character assassination. |
By:
Deep down ALL leave voters have full respect for Nigel. He is a national treasure.
You don't see Jeremy mocked on the Mock of the Week. Why? |
By:
Watched it for a maximum of 30 seconds and I thought this is another BBC left wing attempt at disgracing the wonderful Mr Farage.
As has been said many times below, I've never heard ANYONE from the BBC say a good word about Nigel. In fact, I stopped watching the BBC news ages ago. Channel 4 news is perhaps even worse than the BBC in their left wing bias! |

You rare equally deluded. The Tory party control the BBC. |

All the main parties think the BBC are against them - they must be doing something right
By:
Forgetting the question of if the BBC is left wing.
It certainly opposed leaving the EU, which has always made it biased against Farage and UKIP. It would rather bend over backwards to demonise Farage, quote him out of context than to admit he is telling the truth. |

This thread is like a forum version of One man and his dog.
It'd be a winner too. All rounded up nicely and put in the pen. |

Didn't watch it but farage is by far the best politician in this country ...
you know absolutely what he stands for, he is articulate and speaks in straight lines. Compare him to, eg, Cameron, Cleggy, May (no idea what she stands for except fancy shoes) Labour politicos (excl Jeremy, I like him because he's leading the socialists somewhere - and I don't think they'll ever come back, but I think he's honest). |
By:
You think the BBC are left wing ? What planet are you on !!!!
I do facts, the prejudice comes from within the production staff who take their lead on so many discussion programmes from The Guardian,a minority paper that would probably go out of business without the public sector sales and advertising it receives. People like Paul Mason who was an economics editor whilst vehemently left wing until he left, the News prorgramme on radio 4, every comedian who appears on the BBC slants the humour against the conservatives whilst giving the left a free ride, however crazy they can be,etc, etc. |
By:
treetop - I tend to agree with you - I feel the BBC is more left wing biased than right wing. But it always has been - nothing new there!
By:
what isn't funny is farage was right about so many things
not that he ever got any credit for it remember the hungarian/romanian 'scaremongering' - he was right about that too |
By:
Just watched the first 10 minutes of it and that was enough.
I really wish a television manufacturer would make a television that would have no BBC channels so I wouldn't have to waste my money paying for a licence. |
By:
The BBC are dishonest, cowardly and leftist. Anyone who doesn't see that is the same.
By:
The Country needs to take a vote - Yes or No to abolishing the TV licence.
The BBC can go and fund itself. |
By:
i can see him coming across as very racist
![]() |
By:
yes but then they might ask if they British people understood what yes and no meant and that it should in a representative democracy be for parliament to decide.
By:
It might be nice to have a racist as pm, certainly it is something to consider?
By:
it depends what is meant by left-wing. it's certainly left of the right-wing nutjobs on here
By:
would a racist prime minister be better for Britain? certainly its very possible.
By:
It might be difficult to find someone with the awareness and courage to take up such a difficult task.
By:
I am sure the BBC would not be happy.
By:
step one for any racist pm might be to sack certain members of the BBC such as Gary Lineaker and give him the full time post, unpaid, of helping migrants and refugees.
Who could deny that is a good decision right there? from the new racist pm. |
By:
Watched the first ten minutes and undoubtedly was the worst ten minutes of television i have ever witnessed(betting without the Liverpool v Man Utd game a fortnight ago)
By:
watched it for 5 minutes, thats about as much as I could stand. absolute drivel most unfunny thing I've watched ever.
A shameless (and completely unveiled) attempted hatchet job on Farage by the BBC which fails spectacularly. They really really hate him, don't they ? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
apparently for political balance the BBC is doing a Christmas Spectacular about Jeremy Corbyn.
In it he appears and plays an old Jesus Christ. Diane Abbott stars as the Virgin Mary and Ed Balls and Gordon Brown play the part of the 3 wise men. |
By:
Would Farage not have had to give his consent for the show?
He had probably seen it and been paid for it.. |
By:
Nige would never turn down a chance to be on the telly
