My memory is a little hazy on whether it was the same member, but there was a famous incident where a photograph of another forumite's front doorstep was posted up in a thinly veiled threat.

Was he threating to steal the milk from it?
And on that poor joke, I bid you goodnight, sir. |

I have a vague recollection that the victim's username was Jazzy Jon, but I might be mistaken. Perhaps somebody else could confirm or deny?
Good night, sir. |

Do you remember the time that you could change your forum name? It maybe lasted for 4-7 days.
Do you recall the time that someone got the forum name something like F**KING C**ING B**TARD? He got fair use out of it until he logged out ![]() |

Didn't somebody change their name to something referring to the Liverpool comeback in the 2005 CL final (I can't remember what it was exactly) - it looked odd because their joining date was a couple of years before it had happened.

I got bored of the bollocks talked in Chit Chat by 2004.
A more political breed of middle aged Pub Bore seems to dominate these days. "Fings ain't what they used to be" |

Don Butler - ex- course bookie ... well, he used to 'bet the aways' in the years before Betting Shops.
Punters at a race meeting could have a bet at another 'Away' meeting with such bookies - at 'under the odds, of course. He posted as - lukehart - before he was cubone. Started a website (www.cubone.co.uk) with many of his stories - but it ran out of bandwidth Now, some of the stories are on Facebook - if you are a Facebooker - or Facebookist - or whatever. https://www.facebook.com/Cubone-The-Gambling-Historian-111513965560221/ Don is now 80 - with only one working eye. His son was married to Jodie Kidd - for a short while. |

June 2007. Initially the Western Australian government banned bf, and the ban was only removed after a court case. Which probably makes me the longest West Australian here.

I'm pretty sure it was December 2000 that I joined when the forum was a rolling one with all the sports on one board. On a busy Saturday a thread would vanish into the abyss very rapidly.
