Do we know how many of each are left in the county? |

Yes, appalling. And what is more, totally uneccessary. More Councils, should refuse to accept/ implement these cuts.

Many people haven't got access to the Internet at home or own books of their own. Libraries are essential in our society. |

Public lending libraries should be abolished. The free market has got this covered with 2nd hand book stores, book festivals, boot sales, and amazon. There's still a few private lending libraries about too.
Yet some people still want me to be grateful that I get to pay for them through taxes on pain of having my belongings taken away by bailiffs. |

Years of mismanagement by our governments, the good things passed down by previous generations we are not able to maintain. No country in history has been able to cope with the levels of immigration in Britain.

I have no problem with Libraries closing per se.
If sufficient people used them, they would not be closing. If there is demand for internet, cafes will spring up. Everyone over about 10 has a smartphone. |
