I Claudius is a shocking omission.
Another good one on the same theme was the black and white BBC production called The Caesars. Vel, if you are looking in, you must get the dvd of that one. A cultured guy like you will enjoy that. Couple of quid on Amazon. |

there used to be 'American Playhouse' it was shown about 1990? famous plays
that were featured, can't find a copy of them all together. seen one or two on ytube. like hen's teeth. |

I've mentioned it a few times on the forum in the past, but I think "Oz" was one of the best things I have seen on TV. It was the first drama created by HBO.
