Remember when he and David Hirst looked like they were England's front two of the future. Wednesday got relegated, Atkinson was sold and Hirst was destined for a lifetime on the treatment table. Don't think Atkinson really lived up to his potential either.

On SSN they said the concerns were for an individual, as opposed to a man. I might've made the man bit up and I guess it does make a difference. Maybe partner phoned cops? Who knows?

I can picture the situation. Obviously I'm guessing. Decent sized fit looking black bloke. Geeky, overweight four eyed policeman with 5ft 2inch sized 16 policewoman. Both totally incapable of handling any decent sized fit bloke. Panic sets in when they first see Dalian. Had they got a gun like in USA they shoot him as they are scared. Instead taser pulled. Same result. Dead black man killed by the police. I'm sure if our police force was full of the sort of physical specimens we would feel more protected by this sort of thing would never happen.

I have seen police take a few people down far too violently(no tasers were used)
It is because the police are in fear themselves. Women are ok, but tough men are always best. |

I also think the reason it's generally blacks being killed like this is because of how big and hard many of them look and mean that in a nice way to black men. You don't see too many black men in their 30s and 40s with a big beer belly. They simply are to much for a crappy copper to handle on his own physically.
