GB athletes are banning Brazilian cleaners from entering their rooms at the Olympic Village, it has been claimed after swimming kit and other gear was feared stolen on the eve of the first event at the Aquatics Stadium.
Nine kit bags mysteriously vanished after all the team's equipment was counted in to the athletes' Rio base. Some athletes are said to be refusing to allow cleaners into their rooms, forcing coaches to do their washing up. |
