I haven't seen any of this yet. Not sure I want to either after the grotesque lies and drivel we had foisted on us at the London 2012 Opening/Closing Ceremonies.
Would I be right in thinking that the Brazilian Olympic Opening Ceremony had the BBC commentators reaching for and then swooning over the following phrases? The Diverse Population Blending of the Cultures Outward-Looking Progressive Country Environmentally Aware Vibrant Favelas Did I miss any others from the checklist? I'm assuming it's just all a big silly old coincidence that despite all of these progressive things that Brazil is the world's Murder Capital. I'm also guessing that the Tsunami of Crime which is a fact of everyday life in the Vibrant Favelas wasn't mentioned? The chances of anyone from the British Liberal Media going deep into the Favelas to experience that Progressive Vibrancy is ZERO, at least not without a formidable security escort. |
