fully de-trimmed and refinished in red!

When it first came out the E type was a class apart and nothing came near it.
I had more modest ambitions when fourteenish and wanted a Triumph Spitfire.
When old enough and rich enough to be able to fulfil my dream I went for a more conventional Mini .

Many settled for the Ford Capri which wasn't a bad car at all.

I was out with my son recently visiting a well known Ferrari dealership ...where he was doing some consultancy work (on a black Testarossa) I looked at one of the cars for sale ...a little red 246 Dino asking price £ 450k !!!!
I can remember when they (Dino's) were struggling to make £4k !
With regard to the Capri (I once owned white 2 litre S) great little Cars ..I have a millionaire mate in Spain doing up a 3 litre Capri reckons he's going to spend £ 30k doing it up...

There was an assistant pro golfer i used to knock about with who had a jet black Capri. SYeah seen it before says i. With that he gets the towel and says "Smell that" The dirty little scrote had only banged the barmaid and wiped her pússy with his towel..

Insignia much better car than the Vectra it replaced. Mate of mine has one and he's very pleased with it.

The roads up here on the west coast aren't great so that's why I got the sri to give me the power to overtake safely.
The wife though is content to sit at 30 if need be.

Among very many others I had a Capri 3000 E....

Dark metallic green with a black louvered rear window.

Very quick but not ultimately fast.

Because it didn't weigh that much, and was rear wheel drive, it was pretty exciting.

My old 3 ltr Capri, bought in 88

I bought a black JPS Capri from Philip Welch's in York in 1980 when I was 19. I had to take out one loan for the car and another for the insurance

I loved it and it was worth every penny.

CAPRI fans might wish to know a horse named CAPRI is around Evens fav for the 5-55 at Tipperary less than 10 mins away.

Being backed into 1.92

Chit Chat shovelled the money on and CAPRI started race at around 1.77.

CAPRI led all the way to win easily. Hope you all made plenty.
