What brand of oats do you use Hank and where do you get them, please?

I get some of my food off amazon Jack. You should be able to find the steel cut ones in the supermarkets though.

Thanks.  Will have a look round when next in.  Fed up with soggy rubbish.

Why use steel cut oats Hank?
I always use rolled oats for porridge since they cook quicker. 3 minutes in the microwave equals yummy breakfast.

I am not a nutritionist foinavon but I believe the steel cut ones take longer to absorb in the body and therefore you don't get the carb spike.

OK, thanks Hank, good enough reason but I don't know either. They are a bit too chewy for me but everyone's tastes are different.
