"It says on your CV that you're an exporter. Tell me about that."

Was it like a proper job interview and if so what did they ask?
I'd hope cleaner was the sort of job where if you turn up on on time and look like a 1/2 decent human being you get the job.

Not really Zazu. I did quite a few interviews in my time including those for cleaners. Depends on the nature of the job but in my case cleaners were given a set of keys and worked when everybody went home or before they got in. So trust came into it as well. You're also looking at reliability, nothing worse coming into an uncleaned work station in the morning, so job history important.

I'd just like to wish you all the best Culvin. You seem like a genuinely nice guy with a sense of humour whose prepared to work for a living. Unusual to find those traits these days. Good luck you deserve it.

You seem positive and that should of come across in the interview. We do a lot of group interviews the positive people really stand out. The body language and sub conscious reactions to things really show people's true feelings.

when idiots like moneytree are doing interviews this shows that it is essential that in any successful and prosperous and happy country that there is a surplus of jobs.
In a well run country and economy there must always be a shortage of labour, in that way it is the jobseeker who is doing the interviewing.

Lifelong Reds supporter Kieth Culvin had the charges axed when mobile phone footage of the incident at at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium proved his innocence
A Liverpool fan accused of assaulting a police officer had the charges axed when mobile phone footage revealed the claim was completely false.
Lifelong Reds supporter Kieth Culvin has won a four-figure payout from Greater Manchester Police over his unlawful arrest at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium.
Video shows a police officer trying to grab the fan from behind, but missing, and falling onto nearby seats, that were covered in netting.
Moments later, Mr Culvin was dragged down stairs, pushed against a wall, punched in the back and legs and handcuffed, his lawyers said.
The Kop fan was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer - relating to the bobby who'd been earlier seen to stumble after the match two years ago.
The damning footage was played to magistrates during Mr Culvin's first court appearance and the case collapsed. The Merseysider launched a civil action, which won him a settlement for wrongful arrest.
The Football Supporters Federation (FSF), who helped represent Mr Culvin, said he was a well-known supporter who would meet with police before high-profile games to discuss any safety concerns.
Trouble flared at Old Trafford when Mr Culvin attempted to intervene to smooth over Liverpool fans being banned from using the stadium toilets as they left.
Amanda Jacks, from the FSF, told the Mirror: "This case reinforces the message that it is important supporters don't shrug off such treatment, and contact us for help and referral to legal experts where advice is initially given free of charge.

If I had to give you one piece of advice re job seeking - don't admit to being a cannibal. And never wear the flayed skins of your enemies to the interview. Unless the job is in banking/financial services in the City, of course.
