bodil...phil silvers not fit to be in the same room as the wonderful Laurel and Hardy.
By:
Well, yes he just about makes the same room - but they were pre-TV. They were true giants. I'm told I was taken to see them on the 1953 tour - when they were out of fashion. Wish I could remember something/anything. Blackpool Tower Circus/Zoo is the first 'entertainment' I can recall - not them.
By:
Best: Rising Damp. Leonard Rossiter was a fantastic actor.
George & Mildred. Alan Partridge. Laurel & Hardy. Fawlty Towers. Worst: Mrs Browns Boys,. and anything else produced in the last 10 years... |

@Imfao.The best for myself from your choices would be Red Dwarf and Dads Army.Terrible acting in Dads Army you say? Arthur Lowes performance in that was brilliant and IMO the acting of the entire cast was top notch comedy acting and the scripts were most definetely not terrible.Never really watched Fools and Horses but i remember the "chandelier falling" episode, that was very funny.Never seen vicar of dibley or Ab fab.Allo Allo? No fawlty towers but you would choose Allo Allo.I would say The Office was the funniest thing on british television since Fawlty towers.Likes, dislikes i suppose its all about what tickles your own little boat.
