you dont get do you she,s far cleverer than you think, she,d have known theres no way they can stay in eu without the uk government, same as she no,s the scots wont vote for it,the only people who dont want the scots to have independence are the scots, she,s got lots of extra powers of the uk government but no intention of using them

you are right and she gets all that extra dosh from us BUT
how long can she keep it up or is it just playing on the nasty nationalist feeling forever? |

Agreed, she's milking the situation to try and get something out of it for Scotland. |

Since when does 'once in a lifetime' mean try again in a few years?
Even dodgy Dave accepted the result with a bit of dignity. Since Thursday she's had less class than a Taliban girls school |

Exactly what she got elected to do. Not many politicians do that. If she had been negotiating a deal with the EU instead of that bam Cameron, the UK would have won superior concessions.

She is an absolutely incompetent buffoon. |

Poll expert John Curtice said on sky that Sturgeon can veto it in scots parliament, but uk overrides that sovereignty so it can and will ignore the decision.
SO, its a NON-STARTER |
|
By:

I thought it would be more contentious issue in terms of Northern Ireland in legal terms than I would be in Scotland - due to the Good Friday Agreement (a legally binding international treaty between Ireland and UK). But its not apparently, the Irish Republic wouldn't interfere (not that they can, but if they could I still don't think they would).
(By the way, side-issue, thread on this last year and on and off since. The European Human Rights Act is embedded in the Good Friday Agreement - that will NOT be repealed in Northern Ireland. The Republic would legitimately object as it would internally be very sensitive - Westminster wouldn't touch it. It would end up being a British Human Rights Act (not UK), and then have to deal with Scots (who could veto all day long, and would). EHRA is NOT EU legislation. |
