gilts are government bonds, its how they finance the deficit.
they are loans to the government, someone like yourself who has recently won a tidy sum may buy one to provide you with a steady income ![]() |

If we ever hoped to control immigration we had to vote leave.
we can control it..half of it. we still let in non eu......that is in our control yet we still let them in |
|
By:
We let in non EU nationals after they pass a criteria check.
This is controlled Jockey. |
|
By:
on numbers.....we stll let em in.
|
|
By:
It's called controlled immigration Jockey
What is the population of non EU nationals and how many do we let in? What is the population of EU nationals and how many do we let in? Work out the % and then consider the numbers. |

if they are worried by numbers then lower or stop non eu immigration....simples

And deny our infrastructure of highly skilled people from the rest of the world in favour of pallet stackers from the EU?
stop making austerity cuts and train the local people up. surely those better jobs would give the locals more hope? even more reason to close the other option and keep the eu migrants. |
|
By:
Why not just use local people as pallet stackers Jockey?
Surely that's more simple and cost efficient than training a local person to become an engineer or a lung specialist? Even more reason to control EU migrants. |
|
By:
Just to add Jockey, and i'm not sure that you know this.
Theresa May introduced a threshold of £35K a year salary for non-EU workers to live in the UK permanently. (Nurses and some educational workers excluded) This cap is to encourage businesses to train up UK workers as well as controlling numbers from outside the EU because they can not control numbers from within the EU. |

Goldman Sachs - the global vampire
predator in bloody waters. churning up the financial waters. past and future employees now working for the Bank of England and other global banks and other institutions. Deals in hundreds of billions. buys prime ministers and presidents. could they engineer a referendum? could they cause a financial crash to make a profit? might they put their own man in place for such a crisis? Mark Carney worked for Goldman Sachs for twelve years. will he go back to them later in his career? |
