Lots of speculation as to what has happened .
They say - all you need to fly a modern jet is a "Dog and a Pilot"
The Pilot's there to feed the dog ...the Dogs there to bite the Pilot if he touches anything.

Security at Charles de Gaulle, already tight, has been tightened even further in recent months, after the Paris attacks in January and November. There is the visible security – soldiers on patrol – but more important is what is not seen: monitoring of passengers and staff.
One weak point identified in recent years has been the large number of flight-side workers who come from high-immigrant areas of the Paris suburbs. Last year there was a security review of the 86,000 workers with authorisation to go flight-side. More than 60 had their authorisation withdrawn because of fears of Islamic radicalisation. Security breach? What are the chances?  |

A320 from paris to Cairo ,disapears at about 37k feet with a reported 66 pas and crew ,reports from shiping and locals of a flash and burning in the sky .Was 7nm into Egyptian airspace and unfortunatley looks like this is the deepest part of the med (up to 17k feet )
looks like shipping has diverted to an area and wreckage is reported but not confirmed RIP 66 ,another one goes down . |

In France as in Egypt, the insider threat from airport staff, whether radicalised or induced, has been raised by security experts, who point to the number of screening, baggage, catering, technical and cleaning staff with access to planes.
They seem hell bent on giving these muslims jobs in the travel industry whether it's buses, planes etc - they want you to think all muslims are good honest hard working people, Sorry but it's not acceptable - i don't think any should be working in this industry! as a whole they cannot be trusted - they're playing russian roulette with YOUR LIFE I certainly won't be flying anytime soon |

Call me Dave has said.. has described the disappearance of EgyptAir Flight MS804 as a "dreadful event", and said he feels for the families of those aboard. He added: “I think it’s too early to speculate about what the cause was. “We simply don’t know but all the experts are talking to each other and trying to work out what has happened and when we know more, we’ll be able to say more.” WAC this gutless man is - an absolute traitor - if your not prepared to stand up to these muslim **** get out the job - in all fairness to (DC) i probably know we're too far broke, which is why i support Sir Donald - the USA have a chance - we don't imo. |

They don't know yet, if it was a terrorist attack.It could be, but a plane carrying only 60-odd people, many of them muslim by the sounds of it, does not seem an obvious target for terrorists.

They have been careful in the past, not to do so A fair point, but I was thinking that they would be more likely to target a plane with as many passengers as possible (I assume that there are thousands of flights every day that would carry several hundred passengers). Although, I accept that the terrorists just try to strike where they can. And this was possibly the only opportunity they had (assuming they were terrorists). i don't know enough about the subject to make an informed judgement, vis-a-vis how frequently the opportunities occur. |

Is it still technologically impossible, or impractical. to have live CCTV installed on all commercial flights, that can be monitored at security centres, or at least be able to play the tapes back when something like this happens?
