I must admit though, I went off snooker when Hendry started winning everything.

It is like with formula 1 when lewis hamilton won all those races, it gets boring.  Plus I could never warm to him as a person either.  Can't stand those diamond studs in his ears, pansy

Laugh

A pr1ck was having a go at me in the boozer last summer , pumped full of roids and little staples in his ears , dont know who he was trying to impress but i just went mate f.off with your roids and staples and he was liek i done you bro last night i was like he aint stayed here for 4 years haha , he was clueless must be the roids

But chaser, the people who built those flats, built the schools, that's local goverment.
That's the SNP, Labour etc, whoever was in power then. They are given big piles of money and spend it.

Nothing to do with the tories or the UK etc?
So your "out" vote was to reward the people who were incompetent and built that rubbish in the first place? LaughSad

my mate opened a snooker club in Burton around 83-84, and he fancied getting a celeb in to officially open the club. The late Lenny Ganley was my uncle's double partner before he started refereeing, so I asked him to get Lenny to come and see my mate and see if he could help him out, Len was always very partial to outside earners. Len agreed that he would get a current pro to open the club and even play a couple of members with Lenny refereeing. My mate was gobsmacked when Lenny said there would be no fee involved, they would do it for free booze all night and a slap up meal. Len turned up with big Bill and then my mate realised why there was no charge. Afterwards he said it may have worked out cheaper booking Duran Duran to have done it. Len started doing adverts for Carling Lager around this time, oh how we laughed when we read the interview that Len hadn't drunk in 20 years, what a character Happy

"Anna Begins". The reason BF annie didn't marry me is because I bought the wrong shirts? :(
I think. Ok that's a complete lie :) It's because she wouldn't iron themDevilLaughWhoopsWink

On a serious note, "anna begins" is a song by a very good band!
