The Coalville Star and Echo in Leicestershire are reporting that the Imam of the local mosque has called for the closure of the Danepak factory in the town due to the production of vast quantities of bacon.
Faisal Laxman-Getthy has called for the immediate closure of the Mantle Lane site, which has been in situ since 1970 as its produce offends the worshipers at the local Mosque, which have grown in number since the birthrate among the Muslim Community rocketed in the early 1980's following a particularly tough Ramadan.
Britain First campaigner Ron Hercules has promised a demonstration through the Leicestershire market town if this closure does go ahead.
Currently the motion for closure stands before the ruling Liberal Town Council, whose spokesman Rudolf Bede says 'We must balance the needs of the local economy with the sensibilities of the Muslim Community - and please don't issue Fatwah on me'
Mussies don't do comedy though! so certainly wouldn't be on the receiving end of an april fools joke surely?
wonder if they'd get away with wearing pigs head hats if the demonstration happens
