Out of that list (I can't be arsed searching Wiki again) the Skids would be my top Scottish band - cos ACDC got hijacked by the Aussies.

That wasn't the originals.

Richard Jobson/ was the original vocalist before the Skids split to form Big Country.  Who was the other guy again?

I cut my teeth here, I know several types in this shot and was quite probably there on the day

Nobody cared about sentiment.

we never cared about analysing lyrics or talk of sentiment ffs.
We all just got off our heads, you can not beat that.
Unfortunately now china sells ratshit in chemical form to this generation trying the same.

I often look at 'groupies' who did 'some drink' and supposedly 'lived it up' and think
Really?

There was a place down Pollokshields way (Glasgow southside) - cannae mind the name of the place - it got burnt down one time.  The Ballroom, maybe? we used to go in after the pub of a Fri / Sat night & it played that mad music.

Spannered ain't the word mate!

There were quite a few scots that came down to the northern raves in the 90s
no fuc ker cared, when you were high nothing else mattered.

That said Id love to have kept in touch with half of em cos Id have loved to have asked em why every single team sport they partake in they fail.

I look upon all else with dim view Im afraid.
Sure theres natty little tunes here and there but very humdrum really.
Plus the highs are totally incomparable
drinking a bottle of JD aint the same as doing 4 MDMA, not even close.

Their single is pretty decent - two door cinema club/vampire weekend style

I thought two door cinema club too.

There are no 'accidents' any more.  The police put signs up saying 'Collision' with time and date and a request to contact
them if you have any information.

The bridge from which tragic indie band Viola Beach plunged to their deaths in a horror car crash had TWO sets of faulty warning lights, it was claimed last night.

If newspapers reports are to be be believed, there appears to be significant  discrepancy between police and emergency services. Police also dispute the lights were defective. But they evidently failed to ask for CCTV footage. And as a result absolute vital proof/evidence of what actually occurred, was wiped !!
