It was not my normal doctor who is great but some lady doctor it was the first time I had the displeasure of meeting.

I took a seat and when and explained I was suffering from a painful back due to be in a car accident. Car crash actually although no other vehicles were involved. I was not culpable in any way. Was driving along a narrow country road at night where works were being carried out.It should not have been open and there were no adequate warning signs. Driving on the proper side of my road when all of a sudden the car falls into a trench that had been dug which was bout 12 feet deep and several feet wide. It took about three hours to get the car removed out which hanging sideways and vertical into the trench. The rest of the details are not really important but thankfully no one was critically hurt. My wife was in the car and was injured more than me and suffered cuts, bruising and has since suffered from quite severe back pain.

Anyway as soon as I mentioned back pain and car accident I could see what she was thinking. Compo claim. She even went on to say it and asked why did I not go to emergency right away instead of waiting a few days to come to her. For ta start the right is probably a right off and had to be taken away. I never said I was on deaths door-just had back pains which had got worse over the next few days but it was game over because it was due to it being as a result of a car crash.
Why did I not get an ambulance she sad if it was so bad.
You don't suddenly get back pain a few days afterwards. she said.
She then brought up the subject of claiming insurance compensation and solicitors which I had not even mentioned with the clear implications that's the only reason I was there. I said I have not decided about that ( not that it was any of her business anyway ). If it does not clear up I will think about that then.

Due to her tone and attitude I asked her politely what was she writing down in case I did wish to claim for injuries and I said your obviously sceptical of everything I have said. She then I am not going to court to be your lawyer. I never even mentioned anything about making a personal injury claim never mind going to any legal issues.

These last comments were by the way at the time I was leaving when she give me a script for some painkillers and said hopefully it will clear up in a few days.  She never even examined me. she just sat on her chair the whole time. She even said if you were that bad you would have went to casualty at the time. It was after midnight when we got home that night and we have a young child so we could not have went and it was not as if I said it was a very serious injury.

I was very polite to her at all times but her attitude was a disgrace. When you go to see a doctor you like o think you at least come out feeling better in some way. You don't expect to come out feeling worse due to the way the doctor talks to you and never even examined me to come up with the best treatment.

By sheer coincidence my sister was going into see the same doctor directly as I left. I will not repeat what I told my sister what I thought of her but I wanted to find out later what she thought of her. My sister also coincidentally was suffering from severe neck pains brought about by stress which was probably due to the stress of her personal family situation as its been a rough few months for her. According to my sister she could not have been more nice and helpful. She examined her and suggested she should take some time off work and she would make out a sick note. My sister said she would rather not as going to work kept her mind occupied under the stress she was under.

Her attitude to me was obviously down to what in her mind was an alleged car accident. Well there was nothing alleged about it. A senior person from the road came to the scene very soon and could not have been more helpful. He wanted to know if we were okay and he told us to make a claim for the purposes of the damages to the car to his own department. He said the road should have been closed or at least clear signage, warning signs and the trench hole cordoned off. He took pictures for his own benefit as he said there was no question in terms of the liability and to tell my car insurance to contact him directly. He said while the claim will have to be made against his department the sub contractors carrying out the work were clearly at fault and they will be in turn putting the liability at their door. He brought us home and very at night called back to our home to check we were okay and if we needed any medical help. We said we suffered no serious injuries and he said he even advised us to see how we feel over the next few days as he had experience of a car accident and while he felt okay enough at the time we experienced more and more pain over the following days. Obviously thats not possible according to the doctor I seen today. I was getting annoyed by her whole attitude at this time I replied would you like to put that down in writing please for me as medical fact.

They are only minor issues i give you a free shot at proving me wrong but if you cant even do that on minor issues your word is worth mud on anything more important.

Eeternaloptimist is doing you a huge favour,he is showing how your lies would be exposed in court.

His question is unanswerable as its an opening gambit,it was brilliant,it was inviting another lie.
You can't suddenly say your wife and child were with you because that is tacitly denied in the opening post.
You would then have to invent some story about how or why the doctor introduced this child into the conversation.

Paddletoe may be gone to bed but he won't be sleeping.

As I sit here breathlessly at the computer I feel sure that the biblical revelations will include a huge golden bird appearing in the sky (if not the Health Centre itself) and a strange pixie man distributing magic beans.

Nevermind, paddle should remememder that everyone, including that nice man from the roads division and anyone else is trying to stop him claiming if at all possible.....everything will be to that end.

Look at it this way, some people are claiming damages for being called nasty names, getting thousands...see your solicitor quickly.

The point of the law is to compensate people for loss. Nothing within the law of which I am aware compensates for people finding a big hole and gasping about the potential danger. We are quite literally awaiting for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to arrive and lay waste to anything less than the terrible knowledge that emerged from that Health Centre. It's almost as dramatic as Sky Sports News/PR Drivel Reporters hanging around outside football grounds on the day the Transfer Window ends, waiting for a glimpse of Harry Dedkrapp's petticoat.

This thread screamed fraud from the start.

I don't believe there was a trench dug across the road,I don't believe Paddletoe was in any way injured.
More than likely there was a trench at the side of the road,Paddletoe wasn't paying attention and drove into it.

He then met with gents like Kenny Man who told him he had a claim.
Some days have passed so he trundles down to his doctor ( despite his youth he is a regular there ) but in a bit of bad luck he is seen by a principled doctor who saw right through him.

This makes Paddletoe first angry and then vindictive.
He relates his story on here,he gets some unexpected opposition so after a few days tells an outrageous lie,a new claim that the doctor said something terrible about his three year old child.

This lie is so obvious that many previously sympathetic to Paddletoe change.

He has now gone to ground despite promises of telling us what the doctor said.
He thought he could come up with some story but his imagination failed him.

I see there have been over 40 replies since I last posted. Have not read any of them so far. I had other more important things over the weekend. I was not in "hiding".

I will however, honour my words and give EO replies to two points. Not because I need validation. He is one person I am always happy to accept criticism from.

First, my reaction to my morality over how in "some" circumstances have different set of morals on how I deal with  big business especially ones in have little respect for and the normal person on the street. I will mention one such big business - the main bookmakers. I spend a lot of time time online betting and by nature of that fact I have over time run into quite a few betting opportunities which lets say the result was already known. I have placed many bets in that knowledge and been paid on more than them than you would thin. Is that stealing? That's up for others to decide. I was a little upset when I had a big bet recently on an individual tennis game within the match which I knew was already over. Got paid but several hours later it was voided. No big deal. But I would not have been handing the money back if it had not been voided.
I can give a few examples of these same bookmakers tried to move oncourse sp odds in their favour in a completely amoral way but for a more specific example one major bookmaker took took hundreds of thousands of euros off an irish punter who they knew had not the means to lawfully have such an amount of money. He was a post office manager and had stolen the money and it suited them not to ask where the money came from. You cant even lodge £5000 in cash in a bank without having to account for that money.

So was that stealing which I have admitted doing many times in the line of betting. I refer to specific bets where the result was known and I had nothing to lose and if I did not get paid and I got paid in many cases with such bets and the overall figure would be in 5 figures.

My views on banks and the people who are the real bank robbbers are also well known.

I will answer the second question EO asked but only in private and maybe I over reacted to what was sais by the doctor.  As for my sore back people can make up their own mind about that.

Report paddletoe • February 17, 2016 11:09 PM GMT
On the opposite side of the coin this is how I deal with normal people. I found a handbag on a train platform after I just missed the last train and obviously some lady had been rushing to get on the train and left in on the seat. There was several hundred pound in it as well as other personal items probably. The young lady actually worked with Stanley and had come from Liverpool to London for what I assume was a weekend break. It was at Luton Parkway. I looked for a way to contact her but to no avail otherwise I would have travelled all across London to get it back to her. In the end I had to give it to the nearest police station. I got a very kind letter of thanks in reply.

So I make no apology for treating people and businesses differently but I said in some circumstances so that does not mean I treat all all business
's the same way and with the level of what I think is moral.

Hardly ever if any football matches Kenny. Mostly submarkets where the bets are settled quickly and I place so many bets for relatively large sums the don't stand out. Got a bit greedy on the last tennis game I mentioned. A typical one would be an over bet in cricket and the sub markets around it when just one ball needs to be bowled and the bookmaker a bit behind to bets over runs or a boundary. Snooker matches too where the final ball has been potted.

I am happy to send you that message EO. Its something I normally do but I will send you more than a few words. I don't need to even feel any need to ask you to treat a private message with discretion because I would take that as a given with you. I will send it tomorrow if you want the full story because things are different where I am from and you can judge for yourself if that's better or worse than other places which don't operate with some unwritten rules.

meant something I normally don't do. So despite having that honour EO I except nothing more than an honest reply from you no matter what it is I always respect that your a person of principle and a very nice person. Not trying to butter you up. Your free to totally disagree or criticise anything about me and tomorrow is a new day where nothing is carried over.

You'll always get a fair shake from paddle. There's the law and what is moral and I march to the sound of my own drum.

Thanks for that advice capt but there is nothing wrong with my back that £4000 wouldn't put right LOL
Don't quote me on that! Might as well say what everyone is thinking.

A fair shake from me. Translated as an honest opinion.

Write you some words soon EO. Take care until then.
Report Eeternaloptimist • February 18, 2016 12:23 AM GMT
I'll tell you what paddle. In my reply I'll tell you a very interesting and true story about my own experiences on the other side of the fence legally and I'd be pretty confident it'll surprise you.
Report Eeternaloptimist • February 18, 2016 12:23 AM GMT
And you paddle.

Glad you are not going to write a letter to the doctor or anything like that paddle. As you say you can`t be sure where it might lead or even if may cause hurt you don`t want to
I have become very cautious when dealing with other people, are they predictable, often not.
Best I would say always to be the one who gets hurt rather than hurting someone else. Good luck.
